Stardew Valley but I’ve never played before – Part 3
A wizard, a bridge, and an unexpected guest. These are all the things that will happen but there is something missing… something overlooked… Children. What does that mean? I’ll let you figure that out.
Now that you've unlocked bundles, a quick tip that you haven't asked for but that can save you a lot of time: there's a button on the top right of your inventory from where you can view all bundles, it's pretty convenient. I wish I knew that at the beginning of my playthrough, the amount of times I've forgotten to take something with me and had to run all the way back to farm from the Community Center is way too many to count…
Ahh Haley, gotta love her for never leaving her room xD
Oh and good guessing that flowers are nice for gifting, I always grow a dozen or so of them every season so I always have at least something to give people on their birthdays. Gemstones are a great "everyone will at least like this" gift as well.
All of the npcs have their own likes and dislikes, and it can get confusing to keep track of it sometimes, so if you click their profile in the relationships tab in your pause menu you can look at what they think of the gifts you've already given them.
I'd also suggest visiting the saloon on weekends, most of the npcs hang out there in the evening. Easy place to hand out lots of gifts.
I never realized how much the map helped me when I was new to the game. Now having played it for sometime a lot og the struggles you're having with finding people/shops are second nature to me. Good episodes so far and so interesting to see how different people react to new games!
It's a good idea to keep your coal, ore, and wood. There are a lot of things that help with crafting that it might be better to hang on to for a bit before selling. You can eat your forage and produce for energy (like parsnips). Spring onions and Salmon berries make really good free energy sources and I would suggest taking some with you when you explore the mines. If you die in the mine,s then you loose stuff and money. It might also be a good idea to make a chest to bring fishing or to the mine to hold extra stuff. Makes the inventory space in the backpack a little less painful. Good luck!
OMG WHEN HE SOLD THE COPPER π Haha! Great video. Keep having fun with the game. You'll figure it all out π Btw, watching TV in the morning is actually a good idea in this game. The fortune teller tells you your luck for the day. The luckier the day the more likely to get better quality & rarer items, for resources to spawn in the mines, the easier it is to find ladders to take you to the next floor in the mines, the more wood you get from cutting down a tree, etc. Lots of little things. People often plan to mine on lucky days to maximise chances of getting more ore, rare gems, and finding ladders. Also, every Wednesday & Sunday a channel called "Queen of sauce" is on which teaches you cooking recipes. Food can have stat bonuses that can help you and different villagers have different favourite foods that they love to receive as gifts, so it's good to know how to make food for once you have a kitchen Other than that, you can see the weather for the next day on the weather channel and get general tips from the "Livin' off the land" channel on Mondays and Thursdays.
you are gonna stab something? not without your sword you aint, thats literally the problem is that you couldnt stab anything cause you forgot it. also the voice you gave clint almost made me like him a little bit. also dog(las) is the greatest name of all time thank you.
Hoarding is the way to go with Stardew. You just never know when you'll need a specific item. And it IS a farming game as farming is the easiest way to make the most money. Love the series so far!
Small tip: All of the stuff in the community center is not stuff you can find just in 1 season (made this mistake in my first playthrough), especially the fish
They are in different seasons and some can only be caught when it's raining etc. Also, if you go to the joja building, you can choose the path other than the community center
Cook the quartz with the furnace the refined quartz it gives you is used to make important recipies like Quality sprinklers and lightning rods and more
A few tips that will make the game easier but won't spoil anything: leave your stuff at home when you go exploring and only bring the stuff you need (ex. the mines: bring your pickaxe and sword, food and nothing else) this is how you have more room in your inventory. You can also put a chest in the mines and keep mining related stuff there too. Also, it's a good idea to save at least one of everything, most things you will need at some point or other, and saving stuff for gifting is a good idea also. Checking the tv at the start of the day is also a great idea and a great source of tips! I've loved these videos, I'm relatively new to SV and remember how hard it was to figure some of the stuff out on my first go.

I checked today and you had like 680
700 already
So
Could be that special items, with stars, maybe cost more? idk
Also, did you notice a trash can in your inventory? maybe try it
And seeds of diferent plants COULD be conected with time and season
But who knows

abigail is, in fact, a marryable npc. something tells me she really loves something that you can find in the mines. this thing will remind you of her.
maybe if she likes you enough that weird beach guy's amulet could come in handy . . . but that's a long ways away.
