Stardew Valley but I’ve never played before – Part 4
I will defeat children… The main word of the day is eggs. The festival where I win is upon us. First I have some chores but then it is egg time. We can go mining afterwards but egg time is first. This game has truly peaked… at egg
getting last minute ladders in the mines is always very satisfying. also YOU WONT DROP THE GAME. PROVE THAT GUY WRONG. RISE ABOVE. also yeah check if the cart is there as often as possible cause it can randomly sell some of the harder to get community center items.
I won't leave tips because i think the main ones are being left by other people. But I just want to say that seeing someone play Stardew valley without a wiki and figuring things out as they go is such a refreshing and relaxing experience, I'm looking forward for more.
This series is so fun to watch! And wow, you really listened to the tips we gave you haha. Hope all the info wasn't too much. You're doing great, don't really have any tips lol. Except that, if there's still crows eating ur crops, that means the scarecrow is too far away Prolly 'cause u spaced ur crops out so much We should've said something sooner 😅 Scarecrows cover the range of 8 blocks left, right, up and down to them and 6 blocks diagonally in a circle-ish shape. Or, more actually, more of an octagon. Kinda hard to explain without a reference lol
When your inventory is full ypu can toss what you want on the ground or delete something in the trash bin besides your inventory! I would hold onto 1 of everything (or 3 cauliflowers) because of quests and the community center!
Please avoid sdv wiki as helpful as it is , it'll just spoil the gameplay for you Tips
-Bring food with you when going to the mines so you don't die and lose money.
– Buy a telephone from robin (2,000 gold ). You'll have all store owners numbers and can check their store inventory on what they're selling and if they're open for business or not.
Oh and I'd recommend to take a good look at the community centre bundles, some of them are seasonal so u'll have to wait for next year's spring to finish them if u don't this year Which ain't too bad really, no biggie if it comes to that
FYI, you can hoe that sandy-looking ground in the mines and sometimes find artifacts. Also, the floors with rails often have minecarts full of coal—click on the minecart to get the coal.
EDIT: To be clear, I'm not talking about the minecart on the top floor; that's something different.
The game does warn you when its midnight and again at 1am to go to bed. But you have until 2am before you pass out. Theres sometimes an energy penalty the following day but when youre deep in the mines it can be totally worth it.
And Haley loves Daffodils! Villagers rooms can help give you hints as to what kinds of gifts they'll like in addition to what they talk about.
you didn't in this video, but in some of the previous ones you visited the travelling cart – i think you pointed out that a turnip seed was like 800g. the travelling cart randomly sells a selection of items, almost anything in the game. it's worth checking, sometimes they'll have something you need for the community centre. it's expensive, but it's convenient!
I normally dislike short episodic gameplay videos, but your first video enticed me by stating you wouldn't use the wiki and I have absolutely been loving your commentary, editing, and the overall vibes of these videos. I do hope you stick with this game because it's in my top 5 favorite games of all time and I genuinely am looking forward to each episode. Keep up the great work!
Hayle (or however you spell it) likes salads but like with apples and stuff it in instead of leaves, nuts but coco, and flowers but sun. I hope you understand my cleverly crafted ridles 🙃
The best day to go foraging is saturday! Forgeables and artifact spots (little worm looking things on the ground) reset on sunday, so every forageable that spawns durring the week will be there till the reset.
as a veteran stardew player, this is a refreshing series and I love it. although I often browsed the wiki because smol brain, this challenge makes me wish i wasn't so seasoned in Stardew lol.
You said you were going to stop the voice acting, then people commented and told you not to, and it seems like maybe you listened and continued. Just throwing up a hand for the 'please no' side. Obviously it's a personal preference, I don't want to insult you, you're not bad at it. I, along with many others, have sensory processing issues and stuff like that can be really jarring to listen to and I have had to stop watching other channels where people put on voices (like speaking in an exaggeratedly soft voice because they want chill/cosy vibes). Sometimes I wonder if it'd help to just let a voice develop naturally for a character over time instead of seeing them and then being glued to the first voice that comes up. Idk, just food for thought. Not expecting people to cater their channel to me but at the same time sad face at not being able to watch things I like sometimes.
Feel slightly like I took advantage of your 'I read every comment' here. I want to repay you with stardew tips but also don't want to spoil stuff. The merchant with the pig shout of your farm is available Fridays and Sundays and can potentially help with some harder to obtain items. I'm gonna watch your terraria videos in between these. I cannot place where in SA your accent is from but it reminds me of my youth
Congrats on fulfilling the first community bundle!~
Chatting with all the villagers everyday will sometimes unlock clue to what they like or dislike, and they’ll also mention what other people like. It’ll autofill in the big list of likes. You’ll find that people do like most of the flowers you grow on your farm!
Also, once you save up enough money and materials, you can get tools upgraded. Two of these upgrade, watering can and hoe, unlock an ability to holding click to “charge” and do multiple tiles at the cost of one energy only.
Eventually once you donate enough items to Gunther, he’ll slip you a rusty key.
Lastly, be care about walking bleeding though the rain 😉
Lil tip: you can move the furniture in your house by holding it with your mouse or something. Most people put the TV and bed near the door for convenience
Somebody tell him you need to HOE the wriggly worms. This game is basically in a nutshell, you have to get the thing to do the thing to get the thing. Never-ending! So save a little bit of everything and put it in your chestSSSSS.
Destroy the chests and barrels in the mines. You will need to upgrade your backpack, but in the meantime, make a chest and put it inside the cave by the elevator and dump your extras in there. Hoe dirt for cave carrots and/or make field snacks for energy. You can also put a chest where you fish, but you need to know exactly where so nobody tramples on and destroys it. For that you need the wiki unless someone else can tell you where.
Fun fact: If you hold shift when buying an item like seeds, it buys 5 instead of just 1, also if you hold control and shift it buys 25, this makes it easier if you don't want to spam click to buy a large stock of seeds/items!

You’re honestly such a lovely person to watch. It’s so much better watching when you’re completely clueless lol.
Also TIP : best sources of income are usually melons, red cabbages, rhubarb, and they can all be preserved or made into wine to be more valuable

If you thought Abigail's response to a tulip was interesting then you've GOT to give her an amethyst.

Did you figure out the scythe takes no energy? If you run out of energy you can go around using your scythe.
I have only 4 words to describe this video: ALL HAIL THE EGGS!

new subscriber here! it’s really fun to see you try this game utterly from scratch.
You did fantastic in the egg hunt, and strawberries make great money in spring.
My main tips is to have a lot of food to heal. Let me know if you need to help. I am loving the videos

The scarecrows have a radius. You’re gonna need more than one. 💗🫶🏻

love this series, i just wish for longer and more frequent episodes! also trying to figure out where your accent is from…
Lil tip: you can move the furniture in your house by holding it with your mouse or something. Most people put the TV and bed near the door for convenience
There are different gifts for each person. for abigail she likes quartz and loves amythest which is fairly easy to get early game 🙂
Don't forget to build a silo before winter so you don't have to buy food for your animals 😊
i really enjoy your content! im so glad youtube recommed you lol. im also gonna start watching your terraria series
Another super entertaining vid! Keep it up, your seriously growing fast!
"Oh, that's an abomination."
-Tale 2023 describing children playing at a festival
Yooo winning the egg hunt first try letsss gooo
Its funny you put Vincent on the tumbnail cause some dialogue suggest hes not very good at that 😛
Also mine tip! I put chest next to the elevator, so i can go up every 5 floors, clean my pokets. Go back down
Parsnips are not useless, you gonna need 5 gold quality if you want to get the greenhouse quick
Haley probably likes flowers. You gave her dandelions. Something that grows in the middle of the tarmac.
Oh, you can axe/pickaxe the torches in the mines to get them. You might need them for decorations or just general light.
