So what is YOUR favorite Terraria launcher?
Electrosphere is one of my favorite niche weapons in the game, I use the Sky Dragon's Fury for its alt-fire which shares its projectile with the Electrosphere, and they're such a blast to use against large, stationtionary and/or segmented enemies.
Ankh Sheild is in the trash? I spent so damn long looking for that 0:31 0:31
But Svings! What about true melee weapons?! those often get overlooked!!
The most used rocket launcher is the celebration mk2 because people like to destroy worlds.
I've only really ever used them for digging or liquid management, maybe I should try them out at some point
They are post plantera though and that's a very short time period of usefulness considering the obtaining methods for some of them

I once did a "Specialist Ranger Sub-class" playthrough and once you get to the rockets the fun factor multiples by x1000
Launchers would be 10 times more popular if we had pre hardmode and pre plantera options
I used launchers in my last ranger run for OOA. Mostly because I couldn't find any good gun for this event. Am planning to make a launchers+launcers-like weapons in future)
I used rocket launchers all the time on mobile. Most useful weapon there is. You can clear a ton of blocks quickly, destroy massive hoards of mobs in one shot, or even obliterate bosses
Destroying the damn world after hours of grind using celebration MK 10 is satysfying
If Iām doing a Ranger playthrough i low-key always go for the Snowman Cannon. Itās such a fun weapon and itās pretty useful too.

In my ranger playthrough, I keep the shroomite helmet in my magic piggy bank along with a launcher.
If I need one, it's a quick switch. I have both rockets that can and can't break tiles.

I use 4 of these in the average playthrough, the electrosphere launcher destroys the cultist, the grenade launcher is just fun, and the rocket launcher… is a rocket launcher, then the celebration Mk2 I use to help kill all the bosses I couldn't be bothered to kill before moonlord, like the old one's army
And one of the launcher is a moonlord shredder (not counting endgame one)
I've always loved and used launchers so I just assumed they were common lmao
the sphere launcher always stays in my endgame hot bar and snowman cannon is just plain op
but I just get disappointed when I can NEVER get the nail launcher
