Hello everybody guess what it is today the three year! three year! count em – one two three year anniversary of the stardew playthrough three years I don’t know I put this hat on it has no relevance to stardew playthrough or celebration but you know what does oh my gosh you know what does

These two guys right here these two beautiful boys right here we’ve got little junimo from Eddie thank you so much and we’ve got little Chicken Boy to celebrate I wish I could just keep them keep them- don’t look at my hair I wish we could just keep them like this the whole time

Imagine they’re like this the whole time okay just imagine happy three years oh my gosh some of you have been here for all three years and that’s insane think about that think about that that’s like a thr- like a three year relationship that’s serious things are serious we’re thinking about marriage

We’re thinking about about buying property together we’re thinking about you know 2.5 kids were thinking about our retirement plans three years I can’t believe it I can’t believe it I can’t believe it I also can’t believe that it’s taken us three years to get to get through perfection

So much has happened in this three year period I’m just gonna take a little trippy trip little strolly stroll down memory lane thinking about all of the stuff that’s happened since we started so I think I started this playthrough while I was in law school my last year of law school

And I graduated I was studying for the bar broke up with my partner at the time moved to a different city took the bar started live streaming actually started live streaming before I took the bar then took the bar started my job as a corporate lawyer passed the bar

And then cut to a year later quit that job became a full time content creator and now here we are oh sorry missed a point where moved in with best friend met current partner then we all moved to LA and are living together now and and then here we are wild

Wild wild wild wild wild wild wild wild wild I cannot believe all the stuff we’ve been through think about all the stuff you’ve been through in the past three years think about the stuff you’ve been through since you’ve started watching this playthrough just think about it have a little moment of reflection

I’ll wait I’ll wait have a little moment reflect think about it think about it think how far you’ve come even if it was just a week maybe maybe you binged all the playthroughs in a week maybe you’re binging currently and this place is no longer going on anymore hi from the future

Hi from the past? into the future hello how’s the future but think about all the things you’ve been through since we’ve been here Stardewing together my Dew Dew Heads and I existing together on this plane of universe got to turn my alerts off just think about it you know just think about it

That’s all thank you guys so much for being here for three years one day anything in between thank you thank you thank you thank you so much you have no idea what it means to me today I was going through my Patreon because I shut it down today

For not any like dramatic reasons or anything I just shut it down because I started live streaming on YouTube and so there’s no need for the Patreon anymore cause the Patreon was just like giving people access to Twitch VODs and Twitch VODs disappear YouTube VODs don’t disappear you see what I’m saying

So from here on out there will always be my old streams in existence on YouTube so there’s no need for the Patreon anymore I was like I’m charging people for nothing at this point so I can shut that down and in doing so

I kind of had to go through all of my old content and it made me so nostalgic and it made me just like think back to where I started and how I truly just started this somebody who was so excited to just connect with other people and like connect with ahhh connect with

Like people who looked at the world in a similar way who looked at gaming in a similar way who looked at gaming as an escape and like a healthy escape at that cause I feel like- Hi Chila I feel like there just wasn’t a lot of that out there in a

In a specific way and I just wanted that so badly and I was so excited in the beginning stages that there were even like five people that felt the same way and like cared enough to watch me play some games and like talk about my feelings and thoughts yeah just looking back

It’s like there’s so much passion and care right from the beginning and that’s never gone away I think it’s definitely shifted into other things into like more business minded like growth focused things like have added onto that but there’s always that like passion for what I wanted to begin with

Which is just like connecting with community and not only connecting with community but creating a community of people that other people feel safe coming to you know like at first I was looking for that connection then I found that connection and then I realized that connection was coming from me

And coming from my community and other people could find that connection in my community and so it was on me to create that wholesome caring cozy everything community and foster it and keep it going and so my role has kind of shifted in this whole process

And like how I’ve seen myself in this process but I literally wouldn’t change that for the world and I’m so so so honored to be like the person who is curating community for some people for the people that you want to be here and the people that care and um

I’m so glad that we can find community in each other and I’m not gonna cry I won’t do it you can’t make me you can’t make me I’m so honored I’m so just so honored in so many ways that you care to show up here

That you care to make me a part of your routine that you even put me on the in the background that you listen to what I say that you agree with what I say that you disagree with what I say I’m honored for all of that and forever thankful and forever

Curious as to why you’re here in some ways I’m like I get it we are one in the same we are I am you you are me and then in other days I’m like why are you here why do you listen to me rant about nothing I am just always grateful

And always honored and I just want you to know that I always appreciate this specific community as well not just the greater YouTube community but like this specific Stardew community means so much to me so special to me and I say this all the time but like I’ve kept this going

From what I think of way like if an outside YouTube analyst business person were to come in and look at my channel they would be like why have you kept doing these things make no sense for your channel and I’d be like I know I don’t care haha and I’ve I’ve

Had people tell me that I’ve thought about that and I’m like I don’t care it means so much to me and that’s just that that’s just that and I know it’s it’s a part of some people’s routines in a way that like I would never take that away from y’all you know

Prematurely at least we won’t talk about the impending doom of the end of this playthrough we won’t talk about that but I would never prematurely take that away just because I don’t know whatever you know I just it just it just means so much to me

And you guys mean so much to me and I love having this little space every week and I don’t know what I’m gonna do without it I’m not talking about that I’m not talking about that and thank you so much for creating that for three years because if y’all weren’t here

I don’t know I might still be doing it I might still be talking to no one who knows but if y’all weren’t here it wouldn’t be the same for sure it would not be the same the conversations and discussions we’ve had wouldn’t be the same just the feel of it everything the

Advice that you give me everything would not be the same I remember asking you for like real personal advice back in the day like back in the like dating days and the me recovering from burnout me making job decisions like I’ve asked you guys for so much advice and like genuinely

Taken it to heart when you give it to me and like genuinely consider that in like my life choices and life decisions and like mental health practices and everything so if you feel like I’ve made an impact on your life you don’t even understand the impact that you’ve had on my life

I also kind of wish Spirit’s Eve had like a I don’t know why didn’t we come home together I wish I had like a mini game or something the maze is very cool and interactive but after the first time gets old I’m so excited for the update oh my God y’all

I’m so excited also just to remind everybody about the plans for the update if the update comes out before we finished the playthrough then we will continue to play the playthrough if it affects perfection so if it adds on stuff perfection and I’m like basically I no longer have perfection anymore

Then we’ll continue to play if we finish the play if we reach perfection before the update or if the update does not affect our perfection then we will not continue it on this channel but I 100% will explore the update on the gaming channel

And I will probably be exploring some of like expanded Stardew Expanded on the the other channel but it won’t be on the same playthrough cause this is on switch this is like a vanilla I can’t really get this over onto the computer any any update stuff that’s like basically tacked on

After we’ve concluded this playthrough will be on the new channel that’ll be exciting you guys can come over with me over there also I think I don’t remember I don’t think I had streamed on YouTube last week I think I was still kind of like contemplating it but um I am streaming my

Regular streams that I do on Twitch I’m streaming them on the new new gaming channel on YouTube also so if you’re somebody who like only likes YouTube and you don’t wanna like venture over to Twitch and that’s why I like like ah alright Kennedy streaming over there

But I wanna go over to Twitch I also now co stream at the same time on YouTube so if you’re commenting on YouTube on the on the live chat I’m communicating with you and then also you can just go watch the all the VODs and stuff on that channel also

If you don’t wanna like show up if you don’t want it or if you don’t want to or you can’t watch the live streams like while they’re happening you can just watch the videos afterwards and the live streams I would say are kind of like these playthroughs but more chaotic a little bit

Like it’s a little more real time interactive chaotic I I do like the the calm pacing of the of these playthroughs like I like having both of the kind of different energies so it’s not gonna be the same exact energy just a warning but very similar

And if you want a little bit more chaotic probably some crazier topics then you should definitely go watch the stream VODs on that channel so that’s where I’ve been doing like multiplayer playthroughs with Alyssa so on Sundays we do like a new game we try a new game together or like

We continue a multiplayer game we’ve been playing so for a while we’ve been doing like a Fortnite and this last stream we tried Sun Haven and I think we’re gonna keep playing Sun Haven for a little bit till we get tired of it

It’ll just be like a place for us to try out new like cozy multiplayer games cause I’ve I’ve told you all this many time but like I do not have time I basically do not have time in my free time to like start and finish a lot of games or just like

Jump into new games so in my free time I’m either doing like a really short story based game or I’m like dipping my toe into a game and really not getting like the whole depth breadth of the game or I’m go I’m returning to a comfort game like Stardew or something like this

Like something I always just return to cause it’s easy, Sims stuff like that so I lately just like the past year and a half I just like have not had the time two years really I haven’t really had the time to like really end up trying new game

So the only time I can do that is on streams because that’s already a designated time that I’m gaming if that makes sense so gameplay videos and streams are like the designated time I can play new games so I’m really enjoying having that Sunday where we can

Like test out new games and stuff so it helps me like bring recommendations and stuff to you guys because I don’t know like that’s a lot of the reason why my content hasn’t been focused on gaming stuff in the past like year most mostly year but because it like I just like

Don’t have time to play new games so I’m like well here’s the games I know I love if that helps I can really speak to a lot of games like here’s the releases but I can’t say anything like I can’t say much about them so yeah obviously there’s some there’s some
