Hermitcraft S10#7: Bamboo Frog Storage

Today we invite Scar to check out my newly built storage room featuring a handy shulker swapping organization system. We use our moss factory to power a new bonemeal bamboo farm.

Then we head over to the Frogger game to do some testing with Cubfan and Bdubs, and focus on fine-tuning the game mechanics for it.

  1. The Frogger game is so epic!! I'm excited to see where it goes. Maybe mix in some soul sand or soil for some different slowing speeds? There could be a few traffic lights hanging from the ceiling that block jumping in certain areas.

With Frogger, you could have walls popping up and down randomly to block off paths, randomize the floor for slow/speed to make it a little more tricky, and you could tune some sensors to shoot out slowness arrows, or the fireball things, or bring in a ghast to shoot at people so they can't wait or somehow make the player hit a snowman and get hit by snowballs so they can't wait for the find the pattern

  3. Love the episode etho, top class as always. Every video you put out , either hermit craft or the lets play, I make sure to like even before I watch because I know it'll be a banger. Thank you for keeping at making content event during and after such a great loss in your family

  4. A lil suggestion for th3 corssy road game, maybe make some of the fences into lamp posts so it looks like they fit in and maybe mix up using slabs and carpets? Or like have the carpeted area be a more difficult separate section of the game

  5. Hey etho! For the road obstacles, maybe instead of stone walls, you could use sandstone walls or something similar to imitate a traffic cone?

  6. for the frogger mini game i think you can add a easy mode, medium mode and hard mode that the hermits can choose from and the difficulty level depends on how many ravengers are on the game

  7. I think 2-3 lanes in the same direction adds difficulty to game, I mean it would make it harder to chase the lines I guess. (I think that was also the case in the Win98 clone I played back in the days.) Also you could potentially use tall grass to nerf the snake AI if necessary. Anyhow really like how it is right now. Snake makes the road part more difficult.
    I believe you could still sneak jump into the closed finishes?^^ you could push up the floor 1 behind aswell.

  9. For the randomizer you can have a chest minecart going with the ravengers, preload that chest minecart with different items (for the random selection). That way you can build one central randomizer which can calculate what it's able to put in so that no collisions happen.
