It sounds quieter which is great however the sound shouldn’t have been changed much it just sounds “slimy”
I'm going to miss the sound of my piston door. 😢
They need to stop messing with redstone sounds and just add a sound tab for "redstone activated components" so people can turn them down to low or 0 lol
Rip historic piston sound.
Piston is missing the sound of air compression/Decompression that makes a piston work. It wouldn't even have to be loud, but just layering that into the mix would go a long way

2:15 I don't like the new piston sound either, yes it is quieter which I like, but I don't like the sound itself, I prefer the old sound.
I think the new piston sound needs a little buzz, like the pole coming out of its hole.

I think the new piston sound is really cool! However, I think it's a little heavy in the high end frequency. I think if there were mid to low frequencies, it would sound a lot better

the piston has always felt like a heavy piece of machinery with the old audio but this new one doesnt have its satisfying weightyness or the feel that this is a heavy piece of machinery

New piston sound is garbage from a toilet. Just take the old sound and make it the same volume as the new one.
Literally all they had to do was take the existing sound and decrease its volume 🤦🏻♂️
Looking forward to resource packs that will restore the original sound but at a lower volume.
