[Music] hi noteboard Gamers and welcome back to noteboard gaming I’m your host I’m Mark now in today’s video we’re going to be taking a really quick look at this game right here and this is Terraria the board game now if you’re a video gamer of old or you grew up on this game or even somebody discovered it fairly new it’s a pretty exciting IP and it’s being released by paper for games in conjunction with Rel Logic the original video game Publishers and it’s coming to Kickstart on the 28th of May the link will be in the description below but what is Terraria the board game well it’s a one to four player Cooperative game where you’re going to take your characters and you true sandboxy style you’re going to get to play however you want to play the board can be massive I think these Tils will go Five Deep by 15 wide basically so you can expand this world exponentially almost and have a completely different experience as you dig and you explore and you build and you mine and you try to find the best way to beat the boss there were over 30 unique enemies in the game with I think there’s six Big Bad Bosses there as well so um what I’m going to do is I’m just going to give you a brief overview on what Terraria is and uh so you can have a look at kind of some of the components I will say that this is obviously a early prototype stage so these are not the final components but from what I’ve uh spoken to paper for games about uh and knowing the IP behind this then of course it’s going to look fantastic when the final components are done so do very mind this is very much an early prototype so let me tell you a little bit more about Terraria the board game coming from Rel logic and paper for games welcome terrarians a brand brand new world awaits a blank canvas brimming with terrain to explore resources to be gathered loot to find and enemies to defeat delve deep into cavernous expanses seek out ever greater foes to test your metal in combat or construct your own city in the world of Terraria the choice is yours blending elements of classic action games with the freedom of sambok style creativity Terraria has long been recognized as an alltime indie Gaming Classic beyond that Terraria is a true Blockbuster hit in the gaming industry reaching top 10 alltime status with over 58 million copies sold Terraria the board game is a Cooperative game for one to four players now whether you’re a novice terrarian or a longtime fan you can now experience Rel logic’s magnumopus on your tabletop Solo or with friends with simple deck building at its heart and a flexible action point system choose your own play style and create memorable moments as you dig fight explore and build in a thrilling sandbox world explore everchanging biomes creating a unique World very early prototype the final production copy is going to look absolutely fantastic and you know even some of these Minis and these are going to be modular in the in the Finish game as well they look absolutely great when they’re painted up I know it’s the kind of game that kind of one to four players are going to get together and have a great time with it’s going to take a a bit of table space space but that’s okay because what you want is this unique sandboxy experience each and every time you play and from what I’ve seen you know I haven’t played massive amounts of Terraria the uh the video game but I have played it some I think this recreates that great feeling of that video game in a board game in a tactile board game format so I’m really looking to see the development of this as it progresses I know I say um yeah I think they’re going to have it on display and on demo at UK games Expo which is just after the kickstarter launch um so yeah if you’re going to UK games Expo then make sure you pop by the paper for stand and go and have a look at them but so far from what I’ve seen I really like what they’ve done with this I can see this being a really great journey as you expand your characters you expand your world you build it your way you take on different bosses you complete different objective Stacks the world is absolutely your oyster inter Terraria as it should
