Completing the Community Center with NO ENERGY

I’m finally taking on one of the most common challenge runs in Stardew Valley, not using any energy, but I plan on pushing it farther than it’s ever been taken before. On the way we’ll encounter a bunch of weird limitations that a regular player would never notice. And this is just part 1 of 3!

Feel free to theorize how far we can get! I’m not promising being able to do absolutely everything, but I’m going to try!

Here’s the vod channel if you want to see the full playthrough: @SalmenceVods

  1. A thing to note about dust sprites is they can actually delete rocks given enough time when they get stuck on them. It's a potentially niche way to save bombs/get further in a room with no path.

  2. Straight. Up. Kooky dooks.

You sir, are a true madlad.

I can't even imagine having the patience to do this run. I doff my cap to you sir. Great video as always.

  3. Nice, challenge video 👍
I did one once where I couldn‘t use eridium from nodes only through other means 😅
That was quite hard upgrading all the tools. Fortunately that was before 1.6 (and also unfortunately I just realized. Could have used the animal crackers)

  4. The addition of fish ponds is really nice, but I find crab pots to be the most satisfying way to play. With recycling machines you're a very self sufficient farmer; provides low income but isn't affected by weather, season, and crows so it's low maintenance; saves your energy for high income activities like fishing (ironically) and mining.

Edit: also requires zero infrastructure, no buying buildings or animals, no clearing farm space, no sprinklers, just slap down more cheap pots when you have them.

  5. I feel like this challenge becomes a lot easier once you reach the forge, cause then you can just enchant your tools with efficient and they don't require energy to use anymore
