I thought it was pretty interesting how each location is actually slightly different execution code wise, like effort was put into this

I saw this during a multi-player session yesterday and no one believed me. Thanks for the vindication.
I got jumpscared by him in the backwoods- and also by footprints on the path.

I think I saw something big walk across the bus stop area when I was coming back from the desert in the bus cutscene but I'm not sure
I did get a screen shot, in secret forest. No, my thumb was not in the way… yes, I was fishing and slight afk and shaky camera…
So twice now when I walked through the bus stop area from town to the farm, i thought I saw a shadow run across the top of the screen? And a tree i had planted in the area you can plant a tree on the left side closer to the ticket purchase machine would just explode. Both times i could pick up the wood but the tappers i had just disappeared. Do you have any idea what this could have been?
i cant believe i watched this yesterday and was like 'cool maybe ill look at the spreadsheet to try to spot him sometime' but didnt look at it and just kept playing like normal only to be jumpscared by him while fishing in the secret woods just now
When was this easter egg added? I've never seen it anywhere before online, so it has me wondering if it's what CA is referring to in his tweet from July 24, 2020:
"There is something I have never seen anyone mention, but it's so obscure that I can't recommend looking for it"
It doesn't seem as obscure as the tweet would suggest though if several people in the comments here are mentioning having seen it. Or has the mystery of what that tweet referred to already been solved?

I saw it yesterday. I thought it's only set as a Halloween jump scare, like Minecraft jack o lantern mobs.

it was my first green rain event and i'm fishing in the secret forest when he ran across my screen. definitely was a WTF moment. kinda funny timing considering the villagers all have different diaglouge on your first green rain event, one being if there's monsters roaming about, forgot who though. i thought it was apart of the event lol

I’ve seen it twice!! In spring of year 2 was the first and second time I saw it. I can’t recall the first time I saw it but I saw it in the western Forrest walking westerly kinda by the wizard tower
