Terraria – CALAMITY INFERNUM: The SUMMONER CLASS EXPERIENCE!

Today, we take on arguable one of the most egregious Terraria challenges out there, and take on the Calamity mod, in the INFERNUM difficulty, all while only using the summoner class. From humble beginnings, using a squirrel that lobs acorns at that of the Desert Scourge, to working our way through the reworked bosses with measly whips and summons, to taking on that of the Exo Mechs and Supreme Calamitas with the most powerful summons we can get our hands on, it’s all here. Will we be able to push through INFERNUM difficulty bosses with only the summoner class? Will we be able to to wrangle with bosses such as Yharon or the Devourer of Gods without pulling our hair out? Better yet, what will happen if we manage to clear every boss on the list? What could possibly come after that?

    Also, I recommend abusing your dash more often to bash your way through the bosses, and you get iframes when dashing though them, so when in a pinch, bashing is your way my friend, just not on your future family 😉

    Waffle Time, I love your videos! I saw you were having trouble with the goop and stuff on the arena, if you make the arena out of planter boxes, the attacks that stick to arenas will phase through

    The man loves the shield of Cthulhu dash so much I never see him mention the master ninja gear which in my opinion is a much much better option if you defeat plantera
    Any reason the man never makes it ?

    I type this while still early on, while you are in the jungle and complaining about how bad the imp staff minions are, but uh… Just because you can make a weapon "later in progression" doesn't actually mean it's good or better. This applies to any piece of equipment, even in vanilla >_> The summons, in particular, can have a higher individual damage. But if they don't have a good AI that can actually hit things, that damage number won't matter. And a lot of the summons damage does not actually correlate to the damage listed on the summon item. So it's always best to test weapons, especially summons, to figure out which will actually consistently be reliable or what will actually work at a fundamental level.
