Fighting A BOSS For The First Time In TERRARIA

So there are bosses in Terraria? Aight. Lets try killing one in my first ever gameplay playthrough of Terraria!

Check out the first part here! 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzPBpidLOgg&list=PLEjC08v-JQmO_eBZuRw7Cjo6SzIE1dHGw

I have only played Terraria once, and it was in my last gameplay, hopefully I don’t suffer as much as before while I Try to kill The Eye Of Chtulu. Don’t expect something great, I’m not good at videogames.

  1. A little tip for houses: houses only need a table, chair, walls, doors and light source (doesn't matter the type) and the way I build houses for my npc is make a 10 horizontally and 6 vertically wooden box or simply, 10×6 box.and that's about all I can give about houses and NPCs

  2. @UnicornPlaysGames you can hold right click and make them faster than just continuously clicking left mouse.
Edit:Also clicking the little house icon will let you see your npc's and let you change their house. As well as a question mark that lets you see if a house is suitable for npcs and will tell you what you are missing to make it suitable just by clicking inside the house you made
Edit Again: You can also use items, place blocks, and use weapons outside of your inventory by just clicking it and hover it outside of the inventory

  3. I am absolutely loving the series, the fact that you're not as braindead as most people who're doing those sorts of vids and are actually observant! Keep it up. The tip of the day would be that you should explore way more to either side of the world and the underground parts of those sides, there's a lot of cool things there.

  4. once again, i arise with another list of silly:

    – Boulder 2 Rocky boogaloo
    – unluckiest random teleport potion in front of too hot rock soup
    – Minecraft trivia, what block spawns inside jungle temples for protection? 🙂
    – Boulder 3 "hello there"
    – the Realization of the best item in the world.. Recalls!
    – The Eye of Cthulhu! bear witness to a horrifying (but not the MOST horrifying) Creature and if not the most iconic and First boss of Terraria!

    also the tips section:

    – for building instead of having holes between parts make platforms, so you can close them off while still being able to go through by pressing down AND having more rooms for NPCs! also number 1 boss arena building material so very important 😀
    – Fairies show treasures… but also Empty chests by the way.
    – fun thing i do for healing potions, most things have their own key-binds Healing (H), buffs (B) and mana potions… which is… uhm… J because thats close by i guess-

  5. a couple simple tips:

1- there are things in the sky for you to explore (i would not recommend building for that)
2- you can press H for using a healing potion without it being in your hand
3- pick up chests for the storage as chests are quite expensive to craft!

  6. When it comes to making housing, you can check if your "house/room" is valid for someone to live in by accessing the housing menu above your equipment and using the query (? symbol) tool. You can use doors/platforms and blocks to seperate rooms in a house. While the housing menu is open you will see banners on the wall of your house showing you who lives where, and maybe if room is valid and unoccupied, someone new might arrive.

  7. Tip: make more houses, there are alot of NPC's in this game, and most of them are useful (excluding like 2 or 3 which are a waste of house), i dont want to spoil too much, but ill just say one of them is a TRUE american, and one of them is a terrori- i mean- uhh…

  8. Yo quick tip if you make a new world you can select your already made character and join a new world to find different ores (cause every world you make will have different stuff) and find more loot

  9. He doesn’t know about the Eldritch squid god, also information accessories like the radar and compass and depth meter don’t have to be equipped to work, they just have to be in your inventory, also amazing video!

  10. This is gonna be a fun series i can feel it. A small tip as well, since you have mana now, an early magic weapon can be crafted from the ore you have and gemstones, check with the guide to see what you can make with them with his 'craft' option.

  11. some small spoiler free tips:
-i suggest going to the left of your world there is a green biome that has some of the best loot in early game ( its very difficult)
-try making a platinum pickaxe to mine faster/mine that red magma ore or you can kill eye of cthulu again since he drops some of it
-if u like bows i suggest getting some ice blocks to mix with your arrows since they give a much better arrow effect than flaming arrows or get fallen stars since they make good arrows too
_build way more pretty small houses for more npcs to move in i suggest making 5~10 houses with walls a chair and table
    – try going to the bad red biome its called crimson look for glowing orbs underground you can bomb them for a cool surprise ( america loot ) you can also hammer them
those are all the spoiler free tips i had to give have a great time playing your first terraria playthrough

  12. You know, I really forget how aclectic of a game terraria is. What with glowsticks, crabs, grappling hooks, swords, hermes boots, etc.

Since ive been playing the game so long I forgot how weird it can be when checking things out for the first time.

Also, I would LOVE to hear your analysis eventually of how different of a game terraria is compared to minecraft and the most surprising things to you

  13. Please keep going, and you could slow it down a bit too, you edit your videos for maximum viewability but for me personally it could be less edited and slower paced

  14. as a terraria player with roughly ~500 hours I feel joy watching someone discover the game, as well as turmoil due to how awkwardly he manages the game (it's okay, we all were there at one point)

  15. There’s a hotkey for using a healing potion (I’m not a pc player so I don’t know the exact key to use but there is one)
Also you couldn’t use more than one because you have to wait 60 seconds each time you use one (I’m sure you figured this out near the end but just making sure)

  16. here is a tip about ores, i have put <REDACTED> in place of things that you have not seen and don't know about.

there are 4 tiers of ore, and there are 2 different ores in each tier, but only one can generate in your world.
additionally, one ore at any given tier is better or worse than the other, because they offer superior stats like defense, attack damage, ect.

the first tier, and the one that provides the worst equipment is Tin and <REDACTED>. Tin is the inferior ore at this tier.
the second tier that provides moderate level equipment for super early game caving is Lead and <REDACTED>. Lead is the superior ore at this tier.
the third tier that provides pretty decent value, and is also viable against the earliest boss is Silver and <REDACTED>. I believe <REDACTED> is the better ore at this tier, but im not entirely sure.
the fourth and best tier, and the level of equipment that is highly recommended for the second boss in progression is Platinum and <REDACTED>. Platinum is the superior ore at this tier.

  17. Tip: with the guide you can select a item and see what you can make with it. If a item say "Material" it can be used to craft something.

Also do you know how to zoom in your screen in and out?

  18. Just gonna leave a few small tips here:
H – quickly drink the best healing potion in your inventory (no need to have it on your hotbar)
ctrl + click – when in your inventory holding ctrl and clicking on an item will instantly move it to trash so you can empty your inventory quickly
when you open a chest there are buttons on the right side of its inventory to quickly store/take out items
you can find similiar buttons below your ammo in your inventory, they allow you to quickly stack items into your chests (so if you have 300 dirt in your inventory and 20 dirt in the chest it will go to the chest without the need to find it and place it there)
alt + click – add an item to favourites so that when you use the button to store all items it stays in your inventory ( probably just use it for important weapons and potions)
holding shift while hovering over a block( for example a tree ) will in most cases select the correct tool to break it so there is no need to keep an axe on your hotbar

and most importantly: the new npc that moved into your house is the merchant… BUY THE PIGGY BANK FROM HIM

  19. I adore this playthrough so far! Here's a small tip. There is a button (i think ctrl by default) that how your cursor targets blocks. How you had it set up through the video was the "smart" mode, which is good for mining, but not as much for building and interacting/mining things through walls.
I can't wait for this series to continue.
Also, if you want to learn the purpose of an item, a good way to learn ways to craft something with it is to go to the guide and his "crafting" menu, then to place the item on the left to see what you can craft with it.
