i disagree, use hallowed mask, beetle shell and valhalla greaves, it has a better defense than solar flare armor
When I played summoner I used Valhalla knights armour for moonlord because the defense of spooky armour I found too low
I turned the entire jungle into mushroom

For Melee alternatively you can use Hallowed Mask, and Valhala Chest Piece and Greaves for the most amount of defense. I recommend using Terrablade and Scourge of the Corruptor for the Old Ones Army event.
Tiki can also work for summoners
I've played summoner so many times and everytime I go to get pumpkins, I manually grow them with pumpkin seeds. I NEVER KNEW YOU COULD SHIMMER CACTUS FOR PUMPKINS how does that make any sense

honestly… hallowed armor isnt actually terrible for summoner to fight the moon lord if you are running a dodge heavy build
Do you people still make mushroom-themed houses for the Truffle? It seems nice at first, but then you realize you are making him live in a house made of the flesh of his own kind. It’s like making a normal npc live in a house made of flesh blocks.
This isn’t true at all, you’re just regurgitating tier progression armors for set bonuses. You can make way better optimization with mixed sets, like a tankier summoner, a stronger ranger with red riding armor and i your choice of shroomite mask for the summon damage (shroomite passive is trash) and melee does WAY more damage if you mix in mythril at some point
Yes because wtf are pumpkin seeds, simply shimmer cacti. I’m sorry but this isn’t a guide that experienced people are gonna use, we know how to craft armor. Just tell people to buy seeds of the Dryad.
