The Most Extreme Minecraft Terrain Generation Mod Available

There are pretty insane Minecraft terrain generation mods out there, and this one may just be the craziest! By comparison it makes regular amplified worlds look quite mundane. Enjoy!

  1. that looks awesome but also from the looks of it you were having decent lag spikes when flying around and you absolutely have a much better pc than i do so im not even gonna give it a try lol

  2. This right here is what I've always thought the nether should be. It would be so awesome to just be able to wander through the nether and see endless expanses of netherack above and below – and maybe it could add a really hard structure at the bottom with awesome loot to motivate going down to see the lava oceans.

  3. In terms of getting rid of those shadows, a Vanilla Tweak like "Fullbright" might work, but it does give a warning that it may not be compatible with rendering mods, but I think it'd be worth testing out (I don't have the specs to run it myself lol)!

  4. this is a really good idea, but horrible execution. I only see myself playing this in a heavily themed modpack and no where else, but could you perhaps look at the woodlands:core mod next? it's the world gen pack i'm obsessing over right now and i think it's super underrated especially because of the foliage it adds.

  5. For me the black spot thing was fixed (a little) with ray traced shaders like seus hrr 3. (Rethinking voxels doesn’t count in this case because it doesn’t have bounce lighting)

  6. Rather than setting clouds to just maximum, I'd want the ability to have them at both vertical ends, and some interesting formations with density variations from localized weather in between. This style of world lends itself better to being a crazy sort of "skyblock" with relatively full terrain. It has me in mind of Cloudpunk worlds, where there may or may not be a "ground" below the bottom cloud layer, but the imaginative society that builds up between the sky-islands (skylands) surviving in such harsh conditions, developing trade and vehicles to navigate the world is the focus. A fantastic setting, with unlimited modpack RP potential.

Of course, to simplify the perception of "cloud layers" it could just be a graphical effect localized to a certain render distance from the player on either end of Y. Simple, but immersive, and allows you to leave vanilla clouds at any point you please for going best with your builds in such a world. If ocean biomes are also rendered as vast open voids with only the clouds layers to mark them, that'd be even better! 🤩

  7. Hey AsianHalfSquat, i would love it if you would cover Immersive Vehicles in a small video. Our team is currently working on the 1.19 & 1.18 port and the mod is a very interesting one, with the official content pack you get a couple of planes, helicopters and ground based vehicles with nice textures, in-depth physics, sounds and particle effects.
I also worked on the official pack and a lot of work went Into it, I would be so happy if you could feature it, because your videos are very well made and I’d love for more people to try it out!
    Anyways, thanks for reading ^-^

  8. Would love to see a Made in Abyss themed pack based around this, Immersive Portals with dimension stacking, along with definitely Create (an elevator traveling thousands of blocks would be amazing). Each dimension could act as a layer and that also eases the whole process of making each layer unique, you just simply modify the world gen on that dimension.
