I recently staryed a file the day it came out on the river land farm for the free fish smoker cause i love fishing and i got luckily with the extra house now i have two
Literal a day and half after I started the file i got my axe and pickaxe to iron. Got a coop abd chickens. Got to floor 100 in the mines trying it to finish it before summer second week. I havr the bus prepared. Must say fish smoker,bait maker and rain.. is amazing… yes i do sleep 😂😅 im really enjoying the update

Your rainy day count is so good. I started a new play through to play with you, and i only got the scripted 3rd day for rain. Incredibly unlucky with regard to rain for me. Haha
Definitely skip then mines and then go straight for skull caverns in the Desert Festival. You can get any ore on floor 1 there and egg nodes give a TON of mining xp. I went from lvl1 (breaking rocks on the farm–useful to craft cherry bombs) to lvl 5 mining in a single day. You can buy a spouse weapon which is equivalent to a slammer there.
Afterwards, the normal mines are a complete joke.
Goal should always be to make the money for the desert festival spring 1. Hitting level 6 mining to craft bombs and 42,500 gold for the vault should be your only focus before the desert festival begins.

Mods though how do you get achievements with mods ?
Love watching this update, however playing it has been hard. On summer, no books, very few fishing chests (with old bait and a geode), 8 clay, no silo 😅 It’s like going to work, this is. 🫶🏻
When you hit lvl 6 fishing get the new bait maker asap. 3 iron bars 3 coral 1 urchant to make it. I caught 46 catfish in one day while raining. Restart day if you dont catch early catfish to make it bait. Also large mouth bass at the mountain lake is huge money maker. Made almost 9k at catfish and around 5k large mouth bass.
Use normal sprinklers. They are worth 1 copper/1 iron. You should only be farming enough to get level 6 farming before summer. Getting your burglars ring and farming cash on 85-95-105-115 from enemies and diamond spawns then getting into skull cavern by spring 15 or so is much more efficient than spending all that time and energy watering and overfarming. It only takes 20-30 sprinklers worth of kale to get the farming xp you need. They continue to be useful until you have filled the rest of the farm with normal sprinklers. Your gold per action / energy is pitiful when watering. A single day in the skull caverns can net you hundreds of thousands of gold vs the ~25k worth of kale you're manually watering
What is that experience bar and the exp numbers above your head? Any particular mod?
Between days 9 and 10 what happened to your copper ore did you smelt it all or was it taken? I’m trying to optimize copper and iron bar production but I’m not sure how

Rushing the mines is always beneficial to unlock the mining carts imo. Really enjoying this and 1.6 🙂
