"When playing terraria with your friends you're probably not sharing whatsoever" Whenever I've played with friends we always have shared storage and try to give each other drops that are appropriate for each others' class. This is a weird statement to me. The way progression works it makes no sense to horde items. The game isn't made in a way that supports being selfish. Bosses scale based on the people in the world regardless of where they are, and if someone does get ahead on their own then others often feel left out, and if one person's going ahead I.E. starting hard mode then progression will slow to a crawl for people who aren't prepared.
