  1. I have my main world that I’ve had for a long time and it was my first “legit” survival world meaning I didn’t give myself anything from creative, cheats, or use dupe glitches. I’m pretty sure it’s a 1.12 world but I really started exploring it in 1.14 which I think was the bee update. I got myself full netherite gear when it came out, got all librarian villagers with all the enhancements, built an entire village, and then I ran into an issue. I always took breaks off and came back to it to enjoy it. The issue I ran into was when update 1.17 and 1.18 came out.

I value visual please at the highest and my world generation wasn’t good at all, it was so old and the biomes werre so bland and basic, and they were the same. Most of my world in a 6000 block radius was the Tiaga biome with the 4 block massive spruce trees without the snow. I really wanted all that amazing new generation and all the new biomes. That’s when I just kind of quit because creating a new world and restarting was something I did not want to do again.

Now I’m back again, update 1.22 is the newest one, and last time I played consistently was 1.17/1.18. I’m kind of stuck now because I don’t want to recollect all my armor, enchantments, and endgame items. I want to have those items and be able to continue building the many projects I had planned, but in a new world. I even found an amazing seed with such remarkable generation from a video but I’m kind of stuck.

  2. I have been playing for a few weeks. My 5 year old daughter got me into it. I love it and got hooked. However, with my history of knowing games and knowing my temperament, I have been taking my time doing everything. I spent days finding the perfect spot to build a forever home, me and my daughter slowly explore the Nether for surprise treasures, etc., we tame horses that still have value if you don't have Elytra, I build beautiful towers and thematic homes for everything (just finished an enchantment tower and now I'm working on fixing a village that got emptied), I plan on doing a fishing hut and small village near my home with all the villagers I need for things, etc.

I have considered getting some mods like "Bedrock but better" to add tons of new structures and items but I like to keep things official for the most part outside of some awesome texture mods and "animations and stuff". I do worry though, due to the lack of end game, that after I finally decide to kill the Ender Dragon, and have Elytra, there will be nothing to do but build. The excitement of finding a treasure chest is over once I know all the possible items that can be in there, or worse, nothing is an upgrade or valuable outside of a rare armor trim. Then what? start a new world in Hardcore and do the same thing?

I think Mojang needs to create an end game, make more rare treasures that are resources you run out of, and while it's good there is a reliance on building (super fun to find a mineshaft and build your own), once you have advanced structures, it's nothing but aesthetic and building more QOL. If there was a real reason to venture far out from where you live, instead of just easily fly anywhere, it could add BIG reasons to extend you home and village and keep going 100s of blocks because you may develop into a huge biome that has it's own set of things you "need". They could also add things like specific gear that allows you to survive in certain biomes, and monsters there that are worth building up to challenge.

There's a lot they can do to make the end game not feel so empty.

  3. I know it’s not the vanilla game, but I went back and played Tekkit for the first time in years and that kept me engaged for a while 😅

  4. I've had this wild idea for a while now, where I start in some really really old version of minecraft (like alpha or beta) and upgrade to the next major version every month or two. Would it be incredibly slow? Absolutely. Will I do it right now? Probably not until I have the time to dedicate to that, but would be an incredibly fun idea I think. Plus starting on a much older version like that would give me more incentive to just build shit instead of trying to "make progress", which I really need to get out of the mindset of. It's Minecraft, not story mode

  5. My thing is that whenever I start a new one trying to enjoy the game longterm, I always try to build the best started house I possibly can and once I can't because I need better blocks, and have them, but then need another item to complete it, I get frustrated and bored and don't feel like tearing it down so I make a new one 🙁 But, I will try these tips since most tips don't work for me :3

  6. Had always started a new world when coming back to the game, but for my most recent Minecraft phase I went back to an old world. It’s been so much more rewarding. I just beat the dragon for the first time 🙂

  7. Thats what me and my friends do on our survival only world. We created it five years ago when we were in high school. Over the last couple years we made 12 bases and I love exploring maps. I have a 7×7 level 3 map room in each base. Mostly keep the medieval or cyberpunk. Its beautiful not only seeing our world grow but our world evolve with each update

  8. Burning out was always one of the reason i couldnt finish RLCraft, so i just want to ask if maybe theres a lost soul looking forward to play w me?

  9. Honestly koodos to anyone who doesnt play with mods or add ons cause they’re actually fun and make a huge difference in gameplay. I just got a pc and wont be starting the java edition with any mods. But I really want to eventually since im newb to keyboard and mouse

  10. All good advice for people who like building stuff, or collecting. Problem for me is that I don't. I 'do' adopt a village, wall it up, improve it to the point villagers can walk around easily and without danger, but other than that, Minecraft really is for me a two week game I replay every year or so. That's fine. There are plenty of other things to do in my life.

The thing for me that really shines with Minecraft is mods. If you want something to do, try building a Minecolony from the Minecolonies mod, while you do the standard rogue like power up. Or if you are really up for a challenge, try building the Allthemods Star in the Allthemods mod. (They are up to version 10 right now, but I recommend playing on 9 for now.)

  11. 6:05 lore-my tip is to make a MUSEUM. I remember on an old minecraft server we had historical artifacts, such as dragon heads, wither roses, whatever they're called, and, my personal favorite, a damaged wooden axe. This axe, was used by one of my friends to mercilessly slaughter one of our friends on an expedition to the trial chambers. He was immediately killed for his crime, and I managed to lay my hands on the blood stained wooden axe, and kept it in my inventory, before later implementing it into our town's museum.

  12. My cousin and I started a realm in 2022 and honesty I don't even consider it Minecraft at this point. We haven't gotten warn out yet, we've had slow times but very consistent

  13. Great video, definitely have to send this to my friend. I hate starting a world with friends only to be left alone after one week because everything they do is to speedrun the ender dragon and leave.

  14. One other tip is if you are getting bored put your stuff in a chest and go far away (like 1000 blocks) and start over. You can go back to your original stuff later if you want

  15. tip: if you know you can do something then dont calculate it, even if you wont finish build or something you will probably have fun trying to do it anyways
