I love the Lodestone recipe change too! Makes sense since iron is magnetic and can thus influence the direction of a compass' needle (and I guess netherite is magnetic too, according to the old crafting recipe). Will definitely make lodestones a lot more feasible to use, both for their intended purpose as landmarks, and as building blocks! And the new stuff they added in this snapshot definitely fits the whole "ambience" theme they're going for.
But alas, after almost 10 and a half years, we must bid farewell to our beloved zombified piglin xp farms. They were pretty OP and have had it coming for a while now, but that doesn't mean we'll miss them any less…
I feel like leaf litter should be an extra-efficient composting resource, as in they'd have a much higher chance to fill the composter. It is nature's compost after all

Minecraft started not minecrafting i dont want to see quark versions of animals in og game i just want new content
Passive mobs can only spawn on certain blocks like grass, so that's why you didn't find any in the mesa, as there was only sand where you looked.
As someone else pointed out, you probably need to look at the wooded areas to find them.
It’s nuts that I remember going to school the day after a snapshot would drop for the 1.2 update and gushing about it with all of my friends during lunch. Now I’m still excited to give a new snapshot a try after I get off work and make dinner for me and my partner and gushing about it with her. Time flies but Minecraft always stays

Having every tree have particles is so overkill. Trees don't shed like that! It makes sense for the pale garden because it makes the trees feel dead, and it makes sense for the cherry blossoms because that's what they're known for is spreading petals everywhere
Honestly I'm fine with the gold farm nerf. If you want XP, Enderman farms do much better for that.

What's the point of even being 1.20 if the leading number never changes why even tak it on
I still think that 1.13 should have been 2.0 instead because the double digits after a decimal point doesn't make any sense and the updates of 1.13 and beyond have changed a lot of the game in pretty fundamental ways
Go back to my current point I think that if it they should have the prefix change now

I'm SO glad they nerfed the lodestone cost. Something I've always disliked is that compasses point to the world spawn instead of your spawnpoint, meaning if you built your base far away from the world spawn, then the compass would be useless for getting home after exploring, the only solution was to get a post-endgame ore to craft a lodestone, which is understandably a little excessive.
I don't know if Mojang knows this. But, I hear there's this fancy newfangled versioning that allows you to have as many numbers as you want. Like 1.2204503.2

I feel like smelting leaves should produce 4 leaf litter. 1 full leaf block for 1/4 block of coverage is brutal. They could then adjust the smelting fuel time so that it's not an infinite generator of fuel.

I completely disagree at 0:35 with having drops just be referred to as updates. People would complain that they aren't big enough, plus some of these smaller additions are great to get so soon!
I am against farm animal spawning in badland, I know that's weird, but cmon, we gotta have atleast 1 biome that is a complete wasteland that can add extra challenge or whatever
