30:10 How about making retaining soil "Keeps crops watered for one day after watering". So, if you water a crop, with basic retaining, it waters it one day after, then you need to water again, the next retaining soil keeps for 2 days, and deluxe stays the same. Sounds balanced to me.
I am confused but no matter how many lightning rods, you still might get hit on the crops? That actually is good to know.

29:35 my idea for a retaining soil buff is that the days it works would just be in a cycle.
So day 1, 4, 7, 10… works for basic retaining soil.
Days 2, 5, 8, 11… additionally work for quality retaining soil.
Then every day works for the deluxe as per usual.
The code you showed for the wedding ring appears to exclude the wedding ring from the numerator but not the denominator of the percentage calculation.

38:11 – False, on quartered margins you can convert 6 copper into 2 iron and craft a spinner. The sell value raises from 90g to 250g as misc item sell price is not affected by margins atall and is actually quite relevant in the early game if you are short on cash. Moreover the gold transmute causes a loss of raw sell value as the treasure hunter still requires two bars.
