EDIT: I believe Evan was wrong about not being able to exit the mines when the bug infestation was active. Around 50:30 it seemed like he was attacking the ladder instead of trying to climb it, and that was the reason he couldn't get out.
55:47 Instead of throwing away things you can eat to make room for other things, just eat them.
3:17:00 Were you using the training rod? Because you can't catch some fish with the training rod, IIRC.
I'm so happy to see you guys enjoying this game more! what's great about stardew is you can play it any way you want and there really isn't any wrong way to play this (except joining JojaMart HAHA) QOL Mods are good if it adds to your enjoyment of the game especially to balance the challenges of co-op! These streams are my comfort streams so hope you keep playing this game!
If your okay with expanding the game and having more to do then adding the expand farm mod
If you buy coffee from the Saloon it gives you a temp speed boost when you drink it! Beer is a pretty good gift for most of the Adults!
Not sure if anyone has answered this or if you simply haven't seen the answer: TO PAUSE TIME for cut scenes, the other co-OP player must pull up the inventory or journal until the cut scene is over. Hope this helps.

I don't use mods because I only play on mobile..
But for better quality of life: put furnaces and charcoal kiln on the mines cave so you can go back and forth on the lift to smelt ores while mining so you can go home with just the bar ready. And put the resources chests in upside down U formation with workbench on the center.
Also, if it's wednesday and you REALLY want those seeds (but "I'm determined to keep my shop open" Pierre is spending time with his family) you can buy those seeds at Joja, it's about 5 gold pricier but you can buy them (if you go the joja route and get the membership card they'll be equal in price to Pierre but you block yourself from the community center route. This may be for a future run if you're interested lol).
I hope the povs are balanced more. from 35 mins to almost 2hrs it was 80% mostly Evan and i really wanted to see more of katelyn’s play through since i like the farming stuff more than the mines😂
Yes to a time extender mod in multiplayer. I never realized how much single player pauses time (and how much that affects gameplay) until I introduced a new player to Stardew with multiplayer. I hadn’t felt stressed about time in single player.
Is it just me or is the audio funky? There's a high pitched interference every time E or K speaks. Not drowning you guys out, but there in the background. 🤔

I love to mod my games! My favorite so far are the Chests Everywhere mod and the CBJ Cheats. The chests everywhere lets you acess your chests from your backpack from a drop down and you can label them too.
Yay, I actually got to catch this one live! Hopefully once you guys get mods, Katelyn is allowed to mine! lol. I've never used any mods as a console player so I don't have any recs but I'm looking forward to watching you guys enjoy them. 🙂
Tip in the end of the year in winter you should buy all the materials that you need like iron Coel and wood and ruck because at the start of the second year all the materials increase in price by a lot

There's a trader who shows up on Fridays and Sundays 6am-8pm with a rotating stock of items. Head south to Cindersap Forest, turn west. If you have extra cash, you can buy community center things if you've missed things for the season or if they are too hard to get. Prioritize harder to get items on the greenhouse list first. You can put chests outside the farm. There are maps with safe spaces. Chests will get moved, but machines will be destroyed if villagers walk over them. I keep my forges in Clint's shop. Keep your weapons in the top level of the mines so it's not taking up space in your inventory. Clay is easiest to farm in the cave. Fishing traps are a good way to make money early game, if you add the Automate mod, you can put a chest/traps/bait machine/recycling machine system that you don't have to monitor. Without mod you just need to check it daily. Mods I like: Fishing Made Easy (fishing stresses me out) , Automate, AutomateToolSwap, & Chests Everywhere.

Mods are amazing but why has no one told them about duplicating items! It’s the number one perk of playing coop

chat is so frustrating with their "tips".. like with the melons, and friendship decay. the special thing with melons is very rare, so just harvest for the money. also, the friendship decay takes awhile. like youd really have to go a long time without speaking or gifting them to lose hearts with them.
