Everyone knows that Hardcore is one of the hardest challenges you can do in Terraria, But has it always been as difficult as it is now? In this video I’m gonna be trying to beat Terraria version 1.0.6 (The Undeluxe Editon) in Hardcore! Will I be able to beat the final boss and craft the Night’s Edge?

There are so many differences between Old Terraria and modern Terraria, and I got super nostalgic while playing it. I recommend you try it out for yourself!

this video was so fun to watch bro. It made me realize how much the developers improved the game over time, really applauding their dedication to perfecting the game. I remember first playing this when I was about 6-7 on mobile, thought it was the coolest game ever that summer. Then I switched to pc at 12, never stopped playing ever since❤
When i first tried undeluxe i had come from modded and it was horrible
No joke, I was just playing this on my 3ds before i realized tehre was an update on the 3ds for terraria, so I did get to experience this version nativly

I was 8 years when I first played Terraria v1.0.6.1.
How do you animate the characters like that?
The night's edge was so underwhelming for so long imo because the parts that made up the sword had unique effects while it dealt like 3 base damage more than the molten greatsword. Like how does it trade a poison effect, fire effect, and high attack speed for slightly increased damage with no other effect
There's a lot of mechanics in Old Terraria that kinda deserves to be packaged together as a set of survival mods – stuff like only being able to destroy Ebonstone by purifying it first and the magic mirror using mana makes more lore-sense at the cost of frustrating gameplay.
