  1. If you plant rice along the side of a water source (pond/river) it will not need watered at all. I think you can have two to three rows of rice extending out from the pond/river. "Stanley cup"… I thought you might be a Canadian/USA hockey fan at first… as that is their team championship trophy given out each year… then you spoke about keeping you tea warm… I have heard the players filling it with beer or champagne, but never tea… You can build fish (breeding/goodie) ponds, need only one of any type fish at start, gets up to 7 or nine as you upgrade it by providing what is requested by the fish when they reach the population limit.
As for Andy, I befriended him by giving him Joja colas… which I generally picked up out of his trash can… Battery pack, 2 bottles of wine, a salad and other foods, and a few items I needed for the CC… and Marnie, Leah, Sophia and Olivia all have trash cans too… Large milk (CC), egg and hay from Marnie's trash in the back of her house by the back shed. I generally do this early on when I have used up my energy, or when I get the trash pickup Community Bulletin board quest from Linus for 20+ pieces of trash… by then I am usually too good at fishing to get much trash.

  2. To get a very nice early sword… below Wizard tower, follow wall and go west (character's right — your left) away from town into new area… go south along trees through a gap filled with weeds, hug (character's) right tree wall until new gap near bottom, of that area… pick up any sword like items you see (artifacts – can sell extras), will find nice sword in small clearing surrounded with 4 of the aforementioned artifacts. There is an abandoned farm above that… one more artifact found there that can be turned in.

  3. Iron generally level 40 and below, mine barrels and chests, hit with sword, often have goodies you need.. I place a chest along the left hand wall of mine enterance, out of way of npc pathing, to store food, torches and the like for mine trips and to offload stuff I do not want to lose if I die down there.

  4. Grampleton fields has one NPC (magic abuser related), one extra train station, a memorial at the eastern edge…, and below it at a dock, one rowboat back to the beach's eastern dock (a way to get around the broken bridge if you do not have 300 wood) and a lot of EMPTY space. There is Grampleton village mod that may make it more useful… no forageables, but lots of grass to cut for hay. I do not see any other use for it.

  5. In case you foregt all of the comments mentioning it, button on top right of inventory screen — community center bundles (unlocked ones only)… also acts as a detector if you hover over an item in your or a chest's inventory as to whether it is needed for any unlocked bundle — it pulses.

  6. Loving this playthrough 🥰 Also if you build a coop/barn in the already fenced areas on your farm, the animals won't wander outside the fence, even if it's open ☺

  7. Shelab, I'm sorry, but you haven't played this game in 8 years, SO much has changed and been added to it on top of the fact that you decided to add the enormous "Expanded" mod for this play through, you might as well approach this game as if you have never played it at all. You should probably definitely listen to the people who are advising you take notes if you don't want to have the wiki open and at the ready.
Also, I just want to remind you again you do not need your scythe outside of the farm. But you do need your hoe to get the "worm" spots that you have been consistently ignoring.
Lastly, even though everyone else has mentioned this already, top right of your inventory screen is a tree icon that you can click on to see the community center tabs. Also if you hover over items in your inventory and the tree icon starts to pulsate that means that item is currently needed in the CC.
