I think people are right to be upset at Mojang making teasers only for it to be a paid product for Bedrock and not even an update at all. Teasers should be limited to updates because that's what the playerbase cares about, not the paid additional content for Bedrock. The random accounts being behind unauthorized leaks of future update content are doing a way better job at teasing the community than Mojang themselves, which shouldn't be the case… It's either give appropriate teasers for actual updates or don't give teasers for anything at all, since clearly doing the latter just results in understandable disappointment.

man they made a map smaller than the original xbox maps and then said "ok lets give them all of the custom block variants everyones ever wanted over the past couple of years and then make them pregenerated in an experience with probably no mining crafting or placing actual blocks this isnt actually even minecraft this is just animal crossing but we get paid for it instead of Nintendo" like what is actually wrong with them 😭

idk but at this point Minecraft bedrock feels like Roblox but paid for.
With the way they have all those features and possibilities. Yeah on java we have mods but still its different on bedrock.

Why don't they just add seasons to the base game?

The only time they should tease collabs is if it's with Team Fortress 2, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, or Five Nights At Freddy's

I am incredibly glad that they didn't add seasons to the vanilla game. While I totally recognize the part of it that would be interesting, it feels like such a drastic shift that would make adding new biomes weirder and would conflict with the game's design philosophy of the player being in total control. I really can't see a good way to do it well across every biome in the game that's an improvement over just moving between biomes if you don't like the climate. I'd only want it to exist in any capacity as a gamerule that's off by default, and that'd either be a fairly unpolished setting, or way too much effort for one setting. This is something I feel is better left to mods, and not a core part of the main game.
