When it comes to the NPC’s of Pelican Town, everyone has a different favorite! Some like Maru or Sebastian best, while others are more fond of Elliot or Discount Robin. I decided it was high time I do an updated ranking of them all, especially now that 1.6 is out with new hidden dialogue, as well as new likes and dislikes.

i love most 14 heart events with permanent changes to the world except penny (cause you got to choose) but all of them add something. my favourite might beeing alex with the public viewing in gus' tavern. it has one of the strongest caring about the local community vibes for me and thats basically what the community center route is meant to be.
the best falling in love event is penny: in the evening in the spa… that would be something for me as well. tho other characters like harvey with his balloon event are also amazing.
my favourite is and was always abigail. in general i love abigail for her character and her cute little jokes like artificial refusing to dance with you at flower dance but then revealing its a joke and she would love to dance with you. i also love how she changes after marrying and how careful she becomes despite the graveyard scene where she offends her father wanting her to help with the dinner just because she is a girl. and abigail always wanted to have a pet cat but couldnt since her fathers allergy. so another big plus for me 😀 and the duett <3 so great… one of the best friendship events for me. i dont really like the falling in love thing with the spirit board but… it fits her character. the 14 heart event is nice but it always comes to late for me. like i have some armor and a pretty strong weapon and then get one shot by a golem… but i love her reaction and how careful she is.

I'd marry Robin but I don't want to hurt Demitrius. (I like makers, doers, the outdoors) I might marry someone like Linus; realizing we would never actually share a home. (hold on loosely, but don't let go) I like Harvey….but I hear he steals weapons when you get hurt. I can't blame him, but don't like that. Hmmm. Okay, may give Harvey a try next time! It's not like I couldn't use a doctor in the house,, especially ones who cook. He sounds the most supportive.
Okay, now when I see Sam I'll hear "Golden retriever boy" by King Mala. LOL

Shane is my favorite (other than the messy room) because he also waters & feeds your animals occasionally. He gifts you the same foods that he likes & is the easiest to get the stardrop from. For busy players who don't have time for their spouse. 😂

Haley is the best choice. She's honest and caring. As well as talented. She deserves more love. Sure she might be a little bratty, but that's due to upbringing, not her choice. She loves deeply and unconditionally.
