    Im not disappointed its a dlc im disappointed in the fact that they misled the entire community into thinking it was a new update because they used emojis to tease previous updates before so it seemed reasonable they would do they same thing again. I would much rather them just release the dlc without teasing us. Tldr, dont tease collabs or dlcs

    Seems like 90% of their budget is going towards making DLCs nowadays. This one alone has more content than the last few updates combined.
    Oh well.

    I say this, since the DLC has seasons and fireflies.

    We can ALL agree that add-on content should not be a part of leaks & spoilers, It feels like something EA would do for SIMS 4 DLC packs with 4 items for $25.
    The speculation spoilers is a way for Mojang to not only garner & retain interest & conversation, but also to discover community wants.
    They have all their updates planned out at least a year in advance, so who's to say that things like End Update & Seasons aren't planned for 2026 or 2027?
    Although I wouldn't hold my breath on Seasons. A LOT of people on Reddit said it would ruin things & that a dedicated autumn biome would be preferable.

    Love the videos, if you play other video games I would like to suggest Vintage Story it's like Minecraft in the block aspect but very different in the survival aspect and the crafting is very different to.
    If you play it I hope you enjoy it.

    For real. They just added emojis. They NEVER officialy promised updates people HOOED for. If you are disappointed then fine but DON'T blame Mojang for NOT promising the updates you hoped for

    This, unfortunately, is something we will have to get used to from Mojang and Microsoft. The marketing team only sees a GIANT money-making power horse and are milking it for everything they can. I also don't think their "Updates will be happening more frequently" is going to be a thing either. I mean what do they classify as "Frequent"? an extra update a year could be considered as frequent.
    It is very disappointing that they used their community this way…but it's not entirely surprising when it comes to the BILLIONAIRES running the show. And all this hype for a DLC for Bedrock…one day makes me think Java will be dropped entirely and they will ONLY go forward with Bedrock (Microsoft's Baby). No offence to Bedrock and all but, Java just seems to run a bit smoother in my opinion.
