Mojang should absolutely utilize the snow mechanics for sand. Can you imagine having in quicksand to the game? that would be totally sick.
also, giving the end an update like they did the nether would be awesome! I think it would really give the end more of a reason to exist other than an elytra

When it come to the desert, since it doesn't rain, there should be a sandstorm like how in snow biomes it snows instead of raining So, for a desert it should have a sandstorm and sand can pile up
