Pushing Minecraft To Its Limits

8K render prints available at https://boffy.shop/

I’ll be sending little personalized thank you videos for each purchase 🙂

All options can be purchased as vertical or horizontal, by pressing the “view all” button under any section.

There’s matte poster prints, framed poster prints, canvas prints, and we are working on adding framed canvas prints. I’d personally recommend getting the 18×24 in matte poster – It’s 2 feet tall, and is a much better bang for your buck at $30 than the $60 18×24 in canvas print. All prints are done in very high DPI, at retina resolution (meaning you cannot make out individual pixels from a regular viewing distance).

Here’s my entire YouTube setup, for those of you who want to start recording high quality content (or are just looking for a gaming upgrade). This setup was honed in over 5 years of trial and error – I tried out tens of thousands of dollars of tech to get here. These are the best high end options on the market, in my opinion.

  1. java doesnt let minecraft run everywhere just on windows, mac and linux for bedrock edition they use c++
and also your pc isnt as high end as a tower pc as laptop parts can be really bad compared to the tower pc equivalent but that depends on the specific laptop model and isnt even the same for all laptops from one company

  2. The game is not slow because java, java does have a like 5-15% impact but it doesent matter since most of the rendering code is just calling C functions, but still fair point

  3. honestly i don't think I'll ever watch your videos again if you actually consider notch a respectable person. it really goes to show how much you don't actually care about people or doing your due diligence.

  4. uhhh… That first vanilla vs sodium + lithium comparison is *COMPLETELY INVALID* though…
For vanilla you used 2048mb ram, but 20000mb for sodium+lithium, meaning the result is NOT a 1:1 comparison and is probably a heavily flawed test.

So I did a quick test (with max settings, 4GB ram):
Vanilla: 80fps @ 32 render distance / ~12000 chunks loaded and visible, jumps between ~50 and 120 fps, some ~40ms max stutters, walking around on the ground i get ~200-300fps with occasional stutter

Sodium/lithium: 130fps @ 32 renderdistance / ~12000 chunks loaded and visible, jumps between ~80 and 150 fps, way less stutters, walking around on the ground i get ~200-350fps but buttery smooth

    Performed with:
    Ryzen 7 5800X3D
    RTX 3070
    64GB ram (4GB allocated) 3200MT/s DDR4
1440×2560 (same as in the video)
1.21.4 (same as in the video)
