Last time I setup a working foundry using Minecraft Create mod, and now I need to get the products and materials where they need to go! To do this, I’m going to design and build several new trains and improve my railway network to ensure that all the necessary materials get delivered to and from the factories.

Day 3 of telling @Sbeev to remove the advanced sound physics mod, as it causes MAJOR lag when paired with Create contraptions and it does not get detected by lag detecting mods

You could use the smart colored ME cables to make it fit more with factory, purple stands out

Change the color and call it the Duluth, after the famous DM&IR railroad. Alternatively, you could go with the Norfolk given how much coal the Norfolk and Western(now Norfolk Southern) moved.

Series idea: Make a giant train that is a city which can contain all of the same functionality for a playthrough
Save the slag, there are going to be pretty good new slag bricks in the next tfmg update which also reworks some of the concrete mechanics

I think what you're looking for in terms of your narrower gauge train is an industrial locomotive like a Whitcomb or a Davenport. They built small diesel locomotives for factories, mills and steel plants just for the type of job you have here and look very solid and industrial.
And if you still want a steam loco you can look up J&L 58 which is a very small and heavy brick.
if you don't like the size of the locomotive because it looks off, you might want to check out a 'mining locomotive'. they're small because they're build to pass through tunnels.
thats absolutely a standard gauge locomotive just far away :') if youre not 100% happy with it id recomend taking insperation from british and German narrow gauge diesels

Man I recognized that ore pile instantly. It's my home area and I've passed it more time than I can count. I've even been to the ore docks several times for work.
If you ever decide to make a big diesel train, you should consider making somthing similar to the EMD DD 40X.
I was not expecting to hear about Duluth Mn. I live maybe 2 hours away further north and honestly kind of awesome to see people visiting Duluth and its awesome views.
