You mentioned it was difficult to get coal. It will get easier once you get yourself a burglar ring and the Monster Compendium book (they both increase the chances of monsters dropping more loot) and get some monster musk, you can just keep going to floors 40-79 of the mines and defeat dust sprites. By the end of the day, you should have a lot of coal.
It should be called Bee Hive island instead of Ginger Island after what You did to it.
I just love the fish smoker its so great early game but I didnt know I can have multiple that easy.
