Have you ever wondered what would happen if you completely automated watering your crops using sprinklers—before your spouse could water them? What would they say then? To find out, I crafted a sprinkler and planted some seeds within its range. I got lucky because, on that very day, my spouse went outside and stood on the porch. Thats weird all my crops are always watered and he just says what he would say if they weren't watered
Is this a new thing, a singleplayer thing or is it different for the greenhouse, in the save i have with my brother Lea(my brothers wife) keeps saying she watered the crops and hes like "Lea theyre in the greenhouse with sprinklers, what crops did you water?"

When mine were all automated they still said the same line that they watered the crops to help out

Sprinklers also can't water plants in pots I just tried it yesterday

TLDW: They say they watered them, but in reality, the sprinklers did. They do fill your pets water bowl tho.

I fully automated my farm of like 40 or 50 crops with sprinklers and a junimo cart and was so surprised when Harvey complimented me this way! 😂
Thats cool in 1.5 they wouldn't say anything different i know this because in my 1.5 farm penny kept saying she watered some plants even though I had automated everything at that point
Too bad you couldn't test the only thing I didn't experience…. everyone has automatic watering after a while

My husband always can get the sprinkler to water the pets. Did that change in 1.6?
