you can also just shift+right-click a villager to pick it up, a feature added by "easy villagers" look inot it in JEI it also has a few nice blocks you can craft (auto breeder etc.)

There is a quest thtgives the "natures compass which you can either craft … or just get from an easy quest you should have already gotten in the forst few days. just click the button in the top right when in the quest screen to accept all rewards (except randomized lootboxes) and you should get it
Edit: you can search for biomes with it

Netherite is easy to farm here: get supremium from mystical agriculture, make netherite seeds, plant them on soil with red fertilizer and you literally have infinite!!
