I've been consistently putting iridium quality cheese in the Luau soup because reasons, but since I have the expanded stardew valley mod I'm kinda wondering if there would be some changes to the scene.
when i first played i got a letter that said go get your best FOOD i did exactly that just baked 1 bread and when i arrived there i couldn't throw it in the soup so i just put 20x tree sap bc its the only thing i could put in in i thought he wouldn't get poisoned surely tree sap is used in some food recipes right?

IN CONCLUSION: Bro hates it and gets sick period nothing else. It's definitely fun to do but the questions asking what happens literally has the answer within the episode

If it causes the farmer to lose a lot of energy, the governer should be thankful it didn't kill him

Put lewis's trousers in the soup. I have done it before, but a note, if you put something bad in the soup then you lose freindship points with other npcs
I did this my first time playing thinking it would taste good cause i personally love mushroom soup and when i saw his reaction i said "Who doesn't like mushroom soup?☹️"
