  1. terraria isn't at least in the base game meant to be hard it is a sandbox game with an even amount of rpg elements in there. and I do think making the game more difficult would alienate some of the more casual players.

  2. Skill issue, have u beaten legendary mode for the worthy with ONLY a MASSIVE lawnmover and ALL negative buffs AND hardcore? yea no, u woudnt even beat the first boss🤣

  3. The most frustrating part is that people who think like this tend to also believe that being good at pressing buttons inherently means they also have more knowledge than everybody else. "But I nohit the Lord Of Macaroni Cheese on Big Heat difficulty after bashing my head against the wall for 1000 attempts and 15 hours, therefore I have more knowledge & credibility about the numbers & synergies of the items than you do, even though I never meaningfully played with let alone researched these items!"

  4. I mean… every game is just pixels on a grid if you think about it.

Doesn't matter if it's Tetris, Borderlands, Metal Gear Solid, Portal 2, Super Mario 64, Baldi's Basics Plus, Earthbound, or Celeste.

Still just pixels on a screen.

  5. Don't get me started on the crowd in mods, especially Calamity. "What, you struggled battling a boss on Death mode? That is basically the same as classic, try playing Infernum with true melee weapons only."

  6. Someone: Asks for advice
r/calamity: Skill Issue. Git gud. or "I Crank up the music to full and zone out, then by the time I'm done there's loot on the floor"
