I hate it, I don't mind the visual change but adding shape change is terrible imo, I think they should be egg shape with no shape addons

Tbh I don’t mind the new update tbh. I when I was in a creative world I hated having to try to remember all the eggs. I would forget all the time. This makes it at least a bit easier for newer players who use creative worlds to figure out. Some of them also just look adorable, like the parrot, CMON MAN I LOVE IT ❤️
I can see why some may be less excited however, after learning the eggs old style for years, like the pinned comment ( not saying that they may or may not hate it, idk for sure, but just an example of someone who studied the eggs for years ).

I actually like the new spawn eggs, im a veteran player but it really is hard to read and identify them when I'm playing,, it just means one less resource pack I have to download!

Nice they redesign the spawneggs so you don't have to hover over 70% of them to find what you are searching for.
Just 1 question… Why Spawneggs and not enchantment Books.
Spawneggs are normally not even obtainable in Survival, but Enchanted books are and you can easy get tons of them. And they look ALL THE SAME! I hope they make it for enchantet books too.
