I have a couple of thoughts concerning the development of the new spawn eggs.
Some of them are really good, but the ones that fall flat for me are the ones that don't feel like eggs. Most of the animal ones (And especially the hoglin/piglins) just feel like stylized chibi versions of the mob itself. I think the artists need to focus on using one unique detail about each mob, on top a base with distinct colors and patterns, rather than piling on features of said mobs. For example, the Panda egg really doesn't need the ears, because it has the black eyes. And the strider's colors are distinct enough that it could do away with the hair. The piglins could just be the nose, while making the scar on the Brute a more contrasting color to stand out.
That said, the other thing I dislike is how all the eggs have very smooth textures, which largely disparities some of the mob textures they're made to represent, like all the older mobs. I see a lot of compliments for the creeper egg, and while I'm also glad they kept the face how it is, the texture/coloring of the egg itself feels very off from the original creeper that we know and love. I think they need to find a middle-ground between their harsh/smooth textures to better represent all the mobs in the game.
Much of the charm of the old eggs came from their simplicity, and while I agree it's time to move forward to designs that are more distinct from one another, they need to figure out how to redesign without overdesigning .

That said, if they removed the nose from the iron golem, it would be an easy S tier, as it would be everything the eggs should look like: few, distinct colors, with a very distinct pattern that well represents the featured mob.

Shulker is S teir in my opinion

I absolutely LOVE the new egg designs. Not only are they creative, but, even though I'm not colorblind, it can be very confusing remembering a lot of the different combinations. This isn't perfect, but it really helps a lot more than the original setup.

as is my teirlist ritual, i shall now list my personal teirlist!: i agree creeper S, Skeleton horse D (i can see it but it's not as good as the horse-like ones), i agree with the ranking of the camel, mule, donkey, horse, goat and polar bear, Panda A, wolf B, i agree with the sheep and pig, chicken A, Trader llama B, Cow B, mooshroom A, rabbit B, Frog C, husk B, Zombie A, Skeleton D, Wither Skeleton C, Stray B, Bogged A, i agree with the elder guardian, Guardian A, i agree with all the fish choices, Glow Squid B, Squid C, Tadpole C, D is for Dolphin and D tier, i agree with the Parrot and Fox but i think the Bee is S tier, Endermite S, Slime B, while i put the Ghast egg in E tier i still absolutely agree it could be improved, Magma cube D indeed, B tier Bat and Ocelot C tier but i agree it's missing something, Ender Dragon D, Wither F tier agreed, i also agree with both Spider placements in C tier but i put Enderman in A tier, i wanna put the Axolotl A tier but it could definitely be better so B tier, as funny as "Blaze B tier" is im putting it in A tier, Sniffer and Breeze B, i agree with the spokes on both the Creaking and the Strider, Warden B tier, Invoker C, Villager C, Zombie Villager C, illager C but i do agree with the illusioner E tier, Iron Golem and Wandering Trader B tier, With the zombie horse your first instinct was right: E tier, Piglin and Piglin Brute C tier but i agree a little too similar (even tho they are litterally very similar) Zombie Piglin B tier, Hoglin and Zombie Hoglin C tier, Ravager C, Phantom A, Drowned B, Jelli Cat spawn egg S tier, Vex A, Allay A, same final ranking except i think the Shulker is A tier. that felt longer then it should've, either way good video!

Similar with the Creeper face, I really feel like the iconic skeleton face should be on its spawn egg. They’ve made exceptions to the “no eyes” rule already, and a skull is always going to stand out to the human psyche. As is, it’s hard for me to tell the difference between the skeleton, the skeleton horse, and the Ghast. In these cases I think the eyes would go a long way to help distinguish these white and gray eggs.

I think slime and ghast are both quite good, and the bat and rabbit are PERFECT. However I'd definitely put all three fish lower down

I actually really dislike the cat egg, I know it has some lore behind it but I seriously didn't know its a cat before being told. its because cats in minecraft looks none distinctive

Cat is A tier because it’s cute… but that it’s Jellie makes it S tier

I actually think all the village & pillage eggs look really good and i love the big noses. Its easy to tell which is which and also its really funny to look at. "Cursed" but maybe in a good way.

the creeper egg actually doesn't have eyes, because creepers don't have eyes, those are empty pits of darkness.
