Would like to be able to matchmake the villagers (looking at YOU, Clint+Emily) add the crop 'soya' so we can make fake meat, soy sauce and tofu. New recipes for old products (green tea+smoker=black tea for British style Tea ❤️) and….
BATHROOMS.
Love the ability to add actual, useable bathroom decor. Shower, bath, hot tub and bath soak like mods have done. Just have bubbles over the player in the normal bath, and a shower curtain Infront of the character in the shower.
Let me sit on the toilet like it's just a chair (and when you jump off, it just makes a flush noise…just cosmetic for that lol)
4th row backpack mod is great. I also keep hoping CA takes inspiration from the Visible Fish mod and the water reflection mod (which IIRC also adds puddles the day after it rains!). Just a few simple mods like this really have a huge impact on the game and I love them.
With all the great mods, I don't really feel a need for any more official releases. Add SVE and BiggerBackpack and Automate and a few others, and we basically already have Stardew Valley 2.0.
I would love to have the player to have a birthday so then villagers/your spouse can give you gifts (depending on how many hearts you have with each villager!!)!! And have like anniversary for the people who you married!! I can't wait for more Stardew Valley content!!! 😀
NPCs acknowledging your marriage after your wedding. I've seen a mod for this, but it'd be nice to have an official patch. Also fostering NPC relationships with other NPCs.

How about an obelisk that transport you to a planet in space with aliens and alien farmland.
Could you include the Night Owl mod in one of your vids? It removes the passing out mechanic, which is the one and only thing I actively hate about this game

i want to be able to throw weapons, rings and boots (maybe even outfits) into the shipping bin. i wanted that for 1.6 but… yeah still not in the game. also since 1.6 is essentially an update that brings famous mods to the game, i think that 1.7 could go the same route. for example the automate mod to make hoppers useful or stuff like that. new animal breeds would be nice but more like farm animals for barns and coops. with the cats, dogs and turtles we have plenty of options regarding pets. there could be new late game items like a npc tracker (similar to the npc map locator) or revamps of some perks in the level up menu (some choices are clearly superior) maybe even a bigger starting map like the 4 corners but especially for big multiplayer groups. 8 people on the 4 corners map for example… lets say its getting crowded. yes, bigger backpack would also be nice. also similar to the "junimo plate" in the inventory (that shows if items are needed for bundles) something that marks crafting resources.
I'd love to see Clint, Wizard, Sandy and Willy as marriage candidates. And to be able to interact more with Marlon and Gunther.
My girlfriend had a good idea that you should be able to add a birthday to your farmer, and then villagers may give you different gifts based on how many hearts you have with them
I would like to see some of the NPC being befriendble (like Gunther or Marlin) and that your spouse can do more things after marriage (like their story kinda stops after you marry them) also maybe the kids we can have will go to school/help around the farm when they get older (like now they are just babies then grow up to big babies and that's it).

That thumbnail said the main reason I stopped playing Stardew. I hope it's very generous extra space. I know I could have modded but I wanted to beat a pure version before getting into modded.

I would love to see characters like Marlon and Gunther as characters you could become friends with. I would also second others who have wished for an aquarium – I think that would be really cool and give fishing more incentive, aside from specific food recipes, quests, the stardrop, etc. I personally love fishing, but I know a lot of players don't, so maybe that would help ease the burden of fishing a bit. Give us some acknowledgement of all the effort it takes to complete that collection.
