Jas loves any kind of flowers. Even the found one from the seasons.
You can store the fridges alongside the kitchen area and they will interact with your menue. But you can use another fridge or a chest to store the actuall cooked buff food. So that is not to complicated.
One thing about the epic barn and coop. The are buildings rather than upgrades. You can move your animals over and either move or demo the old buildings once they are build, but you will need the space to build them at the start. Unfortunately it also seems that building and fully upgrading the other buildings first is required to unlock them. Also, the lines in water need the ore pan to dredge up.
The lava in the cave needs a watering can
If you complete the quest about fishing trash from Linus, he is giving you not only a bit of money and a hillarius cut scene, he with give you a receipt to prepare a lot, really a lot of fibre. And you only need three things for it, one is that found mixed seeds…. just saying.
And if you see that quest again, strip your fishing rod of bait and stuff, take the bare rod and go to one of the small ponds on your farm. The fishing is done in less than a day. And the stuff is going to that container at the train station. that one you tryed so hard to put the shell in. Hope it will work out one day…. it is such a good way to take care of the animals.
that stonefish is really rare. Congrats for getting one….and that ice pip….that is so great.
Do you really want to go the Joja parrot route? Look at his stand.. Blue with a big J on it…
1) The top tea leaves are a lighter shade of green every day of the last week of the season – which is when you harvest them
2) I think that there may be a recipe that uses them, but I mainly use mixed seeds to fill empty spots in my fields if I do not have enough targeted seeds. I do stop using them about the 13th of each month, but by then I have enough specific seeds to plan what to plant for the remainder of the season. Mixed seeds are never produce crops that keep producing, nor ones that can bridge seasons, like wheat.
3) If you want to catch trash and things like cave jelly and algae (the latter needed for fish ponds and some dishes), you can use an older rod and no lures, even no bait… to reduce the number of actual fish you catch. But always go to the hardest fishing cave levels…
4) Make bait makers and upgrade them to deluxe bait makers… harvest every day (or use automate mod — more time for exciting stuff), each will produce up to 8 bait or deluxe bait a day. It adds up if you do not fish every day… and no need to keep hunting bug meat.
5) As others have advised before me… place grass starters randomly but well separated in the pasture, and cover each with a fence pole. New grass will grow out from that spot, but the animals cannot eat the grass starter, so new grass will always generate outwards from each spot.
6) You will need a few chests on Ginger Isle… initially as dump chests.
7) You can see three different changes in the water. Bubbles, which indicate fast catching of fish, one type of fish constantly jumping which indicate a specific fish frenzy fishing spot, and glistening, which is what you noticed at about 1:16:00… Those are panning spots, which is why I carry my pan as a hat, and have upgraded it all the way to iridium for more good loot. The pan will be necessary at Ginger Isle to find the golden walnuts and other needed items. In fact on ginger island, about the only tools you can get away with initially leaving on the farm… is the scythe. The axe can be left behind unless you want to harvest trees for wood. You will need your fishing rod, pick, watering can, hoe and pan. Almost every day.
8) And the slimes on the island are worse than in the mines… thus I made sure I got the 1000 slimes killed for my reward first. The swimming dragons (in the swamp or the volcano) are easily killed. Avoid their shots while noting where near the shore they like to pop up repeatedly.. clear a path to that place. When they go there while still underwater/lava, start swinging the sword repeatedly… until they die. Easy Peasy lemon cheesy. Well there are other mobs you have to watch for and often kill off first… but at least the volcano does not constantly spawn new mobs like the swamp does.
Aged Icepip roe is very valuable if you ever want to get into fish ponds.
You never even tried reading the notes like the older notes you got. The alter is completely unrelated to the notes…
I am very glad to see you worked out digging in those little circles. Try digging anywhere you see a circle on screen, like where a tree curls around forming a circle or other circles made if rocks or a group of flowers with an opening in the center. Also, these are VERY hard to see, but there are mounds in the sand , they also look like a faint circle.
That Sasquatch event is SUPER rare! Congratulations! Shame about getting knocked out tho….
Please don't pay the Joja parrot! You will be skipping lots of fun puzzles and the fun experience on Ginger Island. Wiki will tell you how to get them if you need clues. You can get ALL the walnuts by yourself. Some need specific tools, some are well hidden behind other stuff. Also there are marked locations on the sand, grass, you passed a very obvious one so many times. It is not easy, but you can do it.
Upgrade. Your. Watering. Can. You should have done this ages ago but here we are. Technically you don't NEED to have it upgraded but it would certainly make what comes next much simpler. You need to pour water on the lava in the volcano from your watering can to make a pathway. The clues were the water drops falling on the lava and the "pond" in the volcano that you fished in(that was actually kind of funny I hadn't ever thought of doing that…). But that pond's actual purpose is for filling your watering can in case it was empty when you got to the volcano.
In the volcano on ginger island, you get across the lava by using your watering can
You can craft a bait maker. It gives bait everyday. There are two kinds – one makes regular bait and the other makes the special bait. Once you have one of those you will never again run out.
Lucky lunches are your friend!
The sparkles in the water are panning spots and not special fishing spots like the bubbles.
Enjoyed the series.
Next time you go to Ginger Island, take a chest with you – or maybe two. Also, you can read the journal notes just like the others, by choosing it in your inventory like when you want to eat something. Ginger Island is a larger and more difficult quest than completing the Community Center but it is also loads of fun. I bet you can find most of the walnuts just by exploring and digging around.
There's a bunch of walnuts – lots of them are hidden. You have to dig some up, you get some randomly through doing other things on the island, and some are rewards. You might need to use a guide for all of them
red flamingo ruby south
I highly recommend you do NOT put your fish into a fridge. The cooking recipes that do not specify a particular fish will just take ANY fish. So if you are saving a fish for something to cook in the future, it could very well be turned into Sashimi by mistake. I put a chest in my kitchen area and just get the fish out of it when I need it. Much safer that way.
That altar you keep going to is for another secret. You can read the notes anywhere.
Carry your watering can when you're making your way to Ginger Island Volcano dungeons, you'll need it to go across the lava. You might also want to start upgrading the watering can, they hold more water and you'll definitely need more water to go across the levels
And that was indeed a new farming area at Ginger Island. Something to keep in mind, keep one garlic seed on you, you'll need it for the farm at the island. And now you can start befriending the boy with the parrots.
For the bait, just craft a bait maker or deluxe bait maker, then you won't need to go slay bugs for making bait ever again
I don't use the mixed seeds either
