THE NEW MINECRAFT ADVENTURE UPDATE JUST GOT BETTER ALREADY + FLYING MOB SOON?!

locator bar seems to be a little controversial. whats your take on it?!

Here's my takes on the locator bars, but I aint too bothered with what they got going so far. Just needs some touches.

XP Shift Toggle: Keep everything as is exactly the same BUT to see the current progress until your next level, hold shift to flip to the XP bar to see your progress until your next level. Uncrouching immediately flips back to the locator bar.

Locator Compass: A new item to be held in the offhand. This is simply an "on-off" switch for the player to use the locator bar and allows the player, if they please, to use the locator bar if they wish or wish not to. If they simply do not want to use the locator bar, then simply do not make or use the compass. This also allows people to have the XP bar on the UI at all times and have the locator bar visible, replacing the XP bar, on demand with the compass. Simply to toggle it on or off, just take it out of the off-hand or main-hand. (Players hiding from it like crouching and using mob heads and invisibility potions still apply.)

Two Bars or Merge The Bars: Why flip between the two? Why not have both worlds? I've seen some edits of people having the player locator be A PART of the XP bar, which is unique and cool and rather flashy. Other ones have people have the locator bar be ABOVE or BELOW the XP bar. Either one is just as fun and acceptable.

Locator bar sounds quite handy, especially looking for your friends, but what i love is a way to travel to different villages or bases we build in the world like some sort of teleporter that teleport from different locations that we discovered and such, we have the Nether portal, then maybe something just go get around to our settlements a lot better and quicker tbh, but maybe not make it OP and require some rare or hard ti find items from places or such to build such, so yeah

Also, I'd love to see more birds or flying mobs tbh, love to see Seagulls added for navigation and other uses too, able to be easily to find and locate land if we lose our map or for early game explorations, so yeah

im not a fan of this, because it ruins the point of hidden bases as well incase u want to keep ur base hidden from friends its an unneeded change. why is mojang working on more needless stuff like this instead of actually putting effort into things that are truely wanted

Doesn't bedrock already have that or is that just something different?

Need banner locators for bedrock too. That way on single player the locator bar still has a purpose.

Flying mob that you can ride? Hatch a baby dragon from the egg?

I wonder if the new flying mob is the vulture. It wouldn't be very practical, considering you don't ride vulture, but who knows.

Let us slap elytras onto mobs and ride them into the sunset.
