being able to trade for a wider variety of items AND trade things for emeralds like you would any normal villager basically makes this guy a jack of all trades. This is a much needed overhaul that will finally make the Wandering Trader a villager variety that people actually trade with and enjoy the presence of.

For the spring drop I am pretty sure they are doing stuff with sounds being connected to blocks, you could do an episode that talks about that and uses for that in builds.

I'm not kidding when I say that, even though I wanted to get a full enchantment table and plenty of books for trade, I was able to afford it for over 250 days exclusively on trader llamas.
So my base has a glass ceiling, and the trader spawns in my base all the time. Thank you for the bell idea to keep him out

And in Bedrock, as soon as the lead breaks, the lama is automatically yours. You need to ride it once, that means you claim it, but the hearts are not showing and the inventory is immediatly accessible.

I want Mojang to add a tag for easily turning on use for brushes and water buckets in adventure mode. been working on a data pack and found out there is no straight forward way
I never thought the wandering trader was useless I feel like it would only be helpful for those at the beginning of the game. Like if you just started. But once you've gotten most of your farms together it's no use getting them stuff unless you want to get some of the newer plants

I have a bell tower in my castle but the wandering trader doesn't spawn in the tower always on the ground and never nearby it.
Hold up I thought they dropped leads? And also if they drink milk are invisibility potion if you kill them then they might drop it
The most that I've ever seen of wandering traders is probably like two or three in one sitting but it's very very rare
It's also worth noting that the wandering trader when it despawns if it had the llamas still leashed to it then it disappears as well. What if you separated them from the wandering trader they won't despawn
Literally now the wandering trader is an excellent source for starting your game off with some emeralds at least. So you don't have to find the village necessarily

It's also worth noting that they use the invisibility potion as well if they are attacked so let's say a lightning storm happen that it's daytime and some mobs spawn they can use the invisibility to last as long as the mobs are there and then eventually they will drink the milk. I wouldn't be surprised if his invisibility is more than just 10 minutes maybe it's infinite which is why he uses the milk.

You should do the new cartographer trades next because I don't understand it fully it seems to me it depends on where and which type of village cartographer then they will sell you different maps? But I'm still kind of new to this whole new trade thing and I also wonder does this affect them selling trial chamber maps woodland Mansion map or ocean monument maps? Gee i hope not
You should have also mentioned that unlike other villagers, the wandering trader cannot open doors and does not sleep in a bed.
