Will there be a new series soon?
Well, i wish i would have discovered this little fact before this video so i could have possibly advised you in time. But you might want to write this down, but sometime during next fall you need to go to that bridge in the far east of the map. There is a character there waiting for you. This will also likely help unlock some huge content in SDV expanded. Well, that and reaching the top of the volcano…
So, I didn't word the circle thing very well I think. So you might need to come in and look at the video but where you found the x on the beach just to the left of that you see four shapes in the sand creating a circle Hit the spot in the middle of those four shapes. Also just to the right of the x you broke a large rock underneath that rock was four starfish in the shape of a circle Hit in the center of that circle. There's more things like that all over the island there's a spot in the rubble pile near where you found those muscle rocks. As for the whack-a-mole guy he's actually one of the reasons that I advised you upgrade your watering can however, recently I learned a special trick to getting that guy! Normally what you have to do is stand on one end and then charge up your watering can and aim it towards him and that'll get him. However apparently if you just put pathing down on all the holes but one he'll just come out of that one and then you can get them with your watering can.
Krobus sells solar essence. I believe they have 10 each day. And now that ten hearts have been reached, a visit to Susan's house might be in order. And there may be a secret in Marnie's shed. You can check gem and artifact progress in your collections. I personally never keep more than one of each animal. It's more work than it's worth. But that's just my play style.
One thing to consider for making coffee in kegs is that it gets done super quick (like 1 hr in-game time?). So on wine 'harvest' days you can put in coffee beans first and by the time you've gathered up the ancient fruit the coffee will all be done. It barely slows you down.
you walked past a walnut on the bluff where the slimes are. it's behind a mahogany tree
You may want to look up a guide for the walnuts. It is a bit tricky and very hard to explain the varying strange spots to dig. Sometimes it is a circle of things, sometimes it is simply the center of 4 objects like shells. Some are tucked in tunnels or behind trees. It is fun to try and puzzle them all out on your own though!
You can check which minerals and artifacts you are missing via a Menu Tab – the same Tab you use to check the secret notes, the fish you have caught, etc.
Yes Shelab I did enjoy this episode. I love what you did getting rid of the trees. It looks so much nicer. Oh and by the way I counted your wood in your inventory it is 6,949 wood, not including hardwood. 🪵🌲🌳 I don't know why I counted your wood supply, I just did. 🤔 It is nice you made it back to Ginger Island. Looking forward to tomorrow. 💜💐
Cutting down trees take time because your axe is not iridium. Planting takes time because your hoe is not iridium. The tool upgrades need to be done otherwise things will take time. Also workbench helps crafting faster because you can keep ingredients in the chests not worry about taking them out. Coffee takes 2 in game hours to make, just dump all the coffee beans in all the kegs when the wines are done, go check out your animals, get back the the kegs and voila you have tons of coffee. It's not that difficult or time consuming. Brewing coffee is almost the same as waiting for the seedmaker. Can you not spare 2 hours in game to brew coffee? For the grass, you can run around in the field, and cut down some randomly to get hay every few days, they will grow back again quickly to fill the gaps. Just don't cut the whole area bare.
You can hold down the mouse button to hoe a larger area.
When you see a space surrounded by a cross of shells, etc… dig for a wally nut… in the coconut trees, shake for a coconut, and sometimes a golden coconut, behind trees, there is sometimes a bush with a wally nut in it (like up in the tiger slime area). Rocks, shell agglomeration "rocks" will sometimes give wally nuts, as will crops that you plant and grow on the isle when harvested. At the end of secret paths, where you cannot see, there is a tree that you cannot see that needs shaken for a wally nut, even a space of sand in the north that is a different shade than the rest will yield a wally nut. Where you meet the wild boy, there is a parrot that gives a hint where to find wally nuts each day… and a wally nut hidden in a bulge of a tree (use a tool to free it — forget which one). Figure out puzzles for wally nuts, like the little monster with 4 holes… how do you kill it if it can escape to other holes? On rainy days… there is a gem bird at one of 4 places on the isle for a puzzle hidden in the east… what area they spawn at and what they drop are both important to note… write it down. It changes each game. A small cave can open up after you complete certain parrot wally nut requests.
yeah, effort versus reward, farm animals payout kind of low. Oh, don't take the ginger until you accept the "gather ginger" quest from the bulletin board… The "transport" thing isn't really worth the walnuts early on, it only allows quicker travel between places and doesn't unlock any new areas, looks like a square elevator with leaves. The circle one that you missed which I hinted at earlier was just in one place, off to the left in the area just north of the dock area.
Last day of winter?
OMG! Thank you for finally clearing that right hand path. Loving this playthrough with you.
