  1. as someone whos played a lot of calamity throughout the years, seeing classic bosses like the desert scourge from a different perspective is almost like were seeing into an alternate universe

  2. I've had the absolute widest of grins watching this series and seeing you noticing all the small touches and such. Moments like these really make the hard work worth it in the end, its incredible!

  3. Genuinely so fun to watch your reactions to all of our content! (also really cool how you've been using my track for the intro too!) Can't wait to continue working on the next update, I really feel like this mod will become something special the more content it gains overtime.

  4. @ChippysCouch I don't know if anyway answered on the mount/amour mount yet but teh creature is a cross between a Hippocampus and a Velociraptor = Velocicampus, what a Hippocampus is, is a Horse with a fish tail, basicly a seahorse, the Velocicampus takes the looks of a seahorse and raptor and combines them to make the Velocicampus, it is the whole reason why Sir Nautilus is well a fish lol

  5. I want to ask if you have seen some of the art in the Febuary state of the game, specifically the art that looks like something from gravity falls because the artist who did that piece has done almost an entire terraria journal for every enemy in the game and it's super cool to check out

  6. Dude, watching the crabulon fight made me wonder, we see the strings controlling the boss, but who or what is controlling it? Maybe we find out who or what the puppet master is in hard mode?

  7. Thanks for giving Fables a try! I can't wait until you have the opportunity to dive into our next leviathan-sized update!

  8. That new Crabulon is absolutely terrifying, cordyceps are scary enough but making it look so much like a crab *spider*, especially with the puppeteer 'strings' just amps it up

  9. Bosses like Crabulon Fables make me want to see what this development team would do to base-game bosses. Their visual style for bosses is insane, it really feels like these entities are massive and not-of-this-world! Sadly, no original Crabulon theme, but a lot of the music is going to change, and the new tracks are very well made. Can't wait to see what else happens with this mod in the future!

  10. I love this portrayal of not only crabulon, but the truffle biome in general. It's really leaning into the concept of it being an infestation/puppeteer. I absolutely love it!!!!

  11. I think my favorite thing about this mod so far is that it leans into how these things actually are. I absolutely love the lore in base calamity, its honestly my favorite part. I feel like the bosses in base calamity are really only treated as bosses, with some bosses like SCal and Draedon giving us more lore. I absolutely love how this mod focuses so much on the story of these bosses midfight. For the desert scourge, we see it as much more animalistic, being summoned by dropping bait. For crabulon, it's portrayed as merely a puppet being controlled by the fungus, and we get full lore and story from Sir Nautilus. Its focusing on worldbuilding tenfold, and I love it so much. Can't wait to see how they change the rest of the bosses!!!!!

  12. Is it just me or have both the nautilus fight and crabulons fight been very hollow knight styled? To make it clear that is a compliment, never seen a mod for a game get to a level of stylisation that to me matches one of my favourite games.
