"Many people consider them features" =/= is feature. The player base doesn't get to determine whether or not a bug is a feature, it's purely up to the game company. Most of this feels like whining about not being able to exploit aspects of overlooked programming.
I dont think mojang knows how their own game is played.
It's interesting, because I have some friends from like 8-9 years ago which I met in 1.7/1.8 times that hated on the new versions BECAUSE the sprint sneaking bug existed.
Ahh, I'm glad that they fixed the nether portal hit box, but me on bedrock, I still have to wait 2 hours to load while simultaneously getting killed by magma cubes and piglins tnx mojang
In other words, Mojang is patching out all of Minecraft pervs' favorite quirks.
That means all of the fatherless behavior following gets purged in a single update.
Have you ever logged into your favorite community server one day just to find a line of cobblestone blocks stretching right outside your claimed land? That is some random 12 y/o just treated the landscape that you've spent hours in maintaining — like yet another PvP arena to traverse "the professional player way".
Mojang: fixing bugs
Casuals: "Game became too difficult to play. Revert it back. Where is our infinite strings?"

Why are people mad at zombie piglin xp fix, you can just use mods like tweakaroo to infinitly attack or just use a fully afk farm instead. Mojang pls keep the bug fixed

Farms that were made with portals were mostly far too efficient. Idk i feel like its a good nerf. It does not simply disable mechanic, it gives it its own quirk to how you handle it. Also it requires players to adapt designs which might be tedious at some parts but gives a new task to do in the world. It seems like an okayish change, not horribly wrong
I'm a game developer, so those sounds like good changes and I'm on the Mojang side, all bugs should be fixed,
but as a gamer at the same time, WHY Mojang WHY 😭
mojang… really? a lot of those bugs weren't an issue at all. and yet you patch them even though the community likes them?? why???
AFK farms are cringe and boring. They should be fixed. I hate when I make a server with my friends and they immediately run to make OP afk farms. Letting AFK farms exist is literally rewarding the most unengaging way to play the game possible
I only discovered sprint sneaking after it was fixed and I've been playing since about 2013
The moment I heard about it I was like "okay yeah that clearly needs to be fixed that's so broken"
Bro mojang is just making mincraft worse and worse. they could be adding things the community actually wants like SIDEWAYS SLABS but no we apparently need leaves on the ground and these "bug" fixes that are just making the game worse
4:53 That seems to just be a bug, not tested by devs, not documented anywhere and patched as a bug soon after. I don't think they meant to break it
so its a bunch of bug fixes that barely change anything or actually force people to play the game instead of afking for 10 hours straight lol
NGL, this is exactly why I play oll versions of MC like 1.7.10 so I know the game I'm playing isn't going to have random crap broken because of Mojang deciding to be dicks

well we do still have a lot of xp farms and should xp really be automated tho? the farm still works as a gold farm
In most other games the players would be happy about old bugs getting fixed.
Let's think about it this way.
These are bugs, right? What if they're actually negatively impacting the game by messing up some other stuff in the code?
