It's like RFTools Dimensions + FTB Quests in vanilla! I always like to try and figure out what parts of the April Fools snapshots might end up turning into real features (like how the infinity snapshot gave us data-driven dimension definitions), but there's so much in this one that would work that I just have no guesses. Amazing.

So they turned minecraft in to an extraction shooter minus the shooter plus survival 🤔
A rouglelike or rougelite Minecraft spin off would actually be pretty cool. Kind of like Minecraft dungeons, but you don't keep things at the end.
i really think the mojang devs look at popular mods/plugins to see what the community is into which i love!! this is almost identical to the skill mod where you need to upgrade skills one at a time with levels to unlock higher tiered blocks and abilities. the server i play on at the moment also has the same mob trophies!
keep in mind folks that april fools is often a beta test for future content to be added to the game!!!

I have discovered a few ingredients that are connected to the blocks or actions that give you them. Firefly bushes give swamp biome berry bushes, give foxes. And building up past a certain elevation, gives amplified world
I’m convinced there’s a whole team where they spend have a year making cocaine induced pitches, and then the other half developing whichever one lands

Craftmine totally got me! It didn't occur to me to click on the world! I just started walking down that hall of infinity. I figured that was the joke. So glad X made this video. Now I can go back and play it properly! 🤣

15:50 i don't think either of those are infinite to be clear, there is different stuff near the end of the jump one though for sure. I'm surprised you didn't acknowledge it almost definitely doesn't go forever because they all had different names or jokes.
I was looking at the spawn egg advancements in the fhumbnail and thinking "WHUAAA? SPAWN EGGS IN SURVIVAL?" before I remembered that April 1.
This update was amazing. I plan on playing it long after April fools is over (I love it!)

Kind of an easy to glaze past feature but having the achievement ui work as something you can click to spend XP could be a really nice feature for some multiplayer servers

The dirt upgrades don't continuously spawn dirt blocks, for some reason some blocks, such as dirt, will occasionally be thrown out of your inventory at random. The upgrades do, however, significantly increase the value of dirt blocks, so digging up a load of dirt before you leave a mine can be an xp-generating strategy, haha
Gotta love how mojang spends 1/2 a year to retexture wood and create a new mob but then turn out April fools expansions that revitalize the game and make it feel new.
