  1. I have some ovens connected to hoppers to build a deluxe oven. I want to put a "cover" on the front of the ovens so they're not so cheap looking. One time I was allowed to do this because the server was lagging so much it allowed you to place stuff anywhere. So I put some iron doors on top of the ovens, and it looked great. The problem is that Minecraft has no paneling objects. This might sound confusing but try to imagine what you would do if you want to cover up your ovens so that you can just focus on the hoppers and the chests below, but you don't want to place a whole huge BLOCK sticking out there, and we have no vertical slabs. To cover the ovens you can only put a gigantic whole block there. Therefore your hoppers underneath the ovens will have to be inset by a whole block. Which means the whole thing has to be lifted up by another 2 blocks. And it gets more complex. Just because Minecraft has nothing that functions like a panel or slab that you can put onto the side of a block. If this was combinatorial with some different texture variants, it could help a lot of builds. For example people are still stuck using campfires because they don't have anything that looks similar.

  2. JIRA (pronounced JEE-ruh) is a workflow management system used in many software companies. It’s used to record issues, bugs, feature implementation, etc, and track their progress

  3. Hey wattles, I wanted to inform you about grians new video in which he visited the mojang headquartets and told a lot of things about the happy ghast, including the crafting recepie of the dried ghast (1 bone block in the centre surrounded by ghast tears)

  4. Hopefully they stop letting people play the updates before the updates. It would be awesome that we all figure things out together.
