1.4.5 is the projected next major Terraria update, planned to be released in 2025. It will feature a crossover with the roguelike-Metroidvania game Dead Cells and will include “things that got left out of 1.4.4”. While the update was originally announced to be “relatively small in scope”, it has since grown in size.

Terraria can’t stop getting updates, and that’s something most fans are more than happy with. Re-Logic always knocks it out of the park with new Terraria content, and 1.4.5 looks to be jam-packed with exciting new stuff.

1.4.5 was announced about a year ago, with talks of it being a smaller-scope update. As is common for Terraria updates, it ballooned out of control; now the upcoming update will feature a smorgasbord of new features. These include everything from quality-of-life changes, new items, new enemies, new music, and much more. Information on the upcoming update is spread across X, official Terraria forums, and official Wiki. So In this video I have outlined the things that will be added in the 1.4.5 update. Please note that this only covers the things that are added, not the things that will be changed, for that, it will be discussed in a separate video.
