  1. I'm probs gonna get hated for this but I couldn't get through a playthrough without mods. I didn't use anything to bad just like vein minner and one that let me get placed buffs permanently. I kinda got bored and wanted to speed it up so I limited myself to things I could technically do at the time

  2. Just did a calamity playthrough and defeated most bosses without an arena on expert mode. You don't need an arena if you don't play something that's difficult for you.

  3. healing arena where?

where u put hundreds of heart statue and star statue on the arena and as u move through the arena u get healed instantly with both mana and hp
and you can also dodge bosses attacks

  4. I think the all buffs level is 5, i think level 4 is closer to level 3, but with basic buffs like campfires and maybe heart lanterns, but not all the other work

  5. I do a 5 row, 12 tile spaced platform arena for most bosses. Campfire, heart lantern, and maybe a star in a bottle if I'm mage are all i use
For duke, I do 3 platforms, spaced high enough apart to clear a Cthulhunado. I use Gelatinous Pillion to fly up to where I need to place the platform because she flies high enough to clear a Cthulhunado. Alternatively, i believe frost wings, and other wings of its tier can fly that high, and Bundle of Horseshoe balloons when paired with Lilith's Necklace can also get you that high. Making the arena high enough to clear a Cthulhunado is very important because if you're walled by a Cthulhunado, you can just move to a higher/lower platform and continue fighting duke. Same buffs as before
For King & Queen Slime, EoL, Cultist, and ML, I go chad arena because my King and Queen slime strategy is just to run away, and by EoL, Cultist, and ML, i have infinite flight mounts at my disposal (i play expert and master so the infinite flight mount in question is witch broom)
and WoF, and EoC i use runway. EoC has a really short runway compared to WoF, so I use arena buffs like most arenas i do, but for WoF, I'm too lazy to use arena buffs, and I can shred wof with some classes so it's rarely a long fight that requires a lot of regen anyways so i don't use any arena buffs.
Hope these arena ideas serve y'all well if you choose to use them

  6. Building arena tip:
    Prehardmore
For king slime: make 1 platform about 20 tiles above the blocks (req items: cloud in a jar, hook)
Eye of ctulchu: make 2-3 platforms about 6-10 tiles based on ifu have double jump lenght about 50-70 tiles
Eater of worlds/brain of ctulchu: 1 platform in a straight like (for eater of worlds: use a piercing weapon) (brain: use a piercing weapon for 1st phase, fast for 2nd phase make sure to stand still when in first phase)
Queen bee: no tips required just make an arena in the beehive (amount doesnt rlly matter for it just dont make the platforms too close)
Skeletron: buffed arena for eye (about 15 tiles distance 3 platforms about 100 tile long
Wall of flesh: make a line along hell (about 2000 tile long) break 1 cube every about 10 tiles so lava from slimes drips down
    Hardmode now
Skeletron/twins: buffed skeletron arena (20-30 tile distance about 3 platforms and about 200 tile long)
Destroyer: make a box with healing items about 70 tiles high and use an piercing weapon (better use something like deadalus stormbow) if u dont wanna cheese him use the other mechs arena
Plantera: make an arena about 4-5x bigger then queen bees (and if u wanna cheese and phase dig a 5 tile wide tunnel about 800 tile long)
    Golem: copy king slimes arena
Cultist: use the skeletron arena it works fine
Moonlord: better get a flying mount and just fly
    (Bonus)
    Pillar cheesing methods
Nebula: spin around it and kill the enemies
Stardust: spin around it and kill the enemies or hide in 4 tile walls and use the solar pillar weapon (forgot how its called)
Solar: build a bridge in the air (about 1.5 max screens long) and a wall
Storm pillar i (forgor how its called):dig down and close the hole 1 block and stand above the open part and shoot up
    Btw its for MASTER MODE
    (from my own experience)
Ok this took me too long to type if u think im wrong just comment ur opinion (almost guarantee ill read it)

  7. 4. Noob/chad. It's either you are new to the game and dont understand the importance of arenas or youre seasoned and built different.
    3. Basic. This arena works well with some events and bosses and as the video says lacks vertical mobility. It might be considered lazy, but it does it's job well
    2. Multi-platform. Allows mobility in all directions favoring non over the over and permitting the use of better equipment like hooks and wings to better position yourself in fights
    1. The Pragmatic/Professional/Elite. The video shows a basic platform with extra arena buffs but it can include many other things like aesthetics or promote a specific design for a specific boss. One such example might be skeletron for his roughly circular or eliptical ai pattern. Or having a straight rail track to exploit the eye of Cthulhu's limited mobility. If you want an arena that is multipurpose stick with buffs and focus on dodging with multiple platforms and adapt your playstyle. Or use many smaller arenas to exploit weaknesses for easy fights

Note: You should do and make arenas that suit your playstyle. If you like complicated arenas and you feel like you do better with them, roll with it. If you prefer a simple one, that is also valid. If something isn't working for you, always adapt. Always ask these three questions: Do i need the extra boost? Will the time making the arena be more efficient than trying again with the same one that you already have? Finally, do you feel more comfortable with that option? If all of these are yes, then definitely do it
