Terraria Pre-Hardmode Checklist! Do THIS Before Hardmode!
This is a Checklist and Guidance for Pre-Hardmode preparations in Terraria.
Get ready for 1.4.5 and settle everything it needs to comfortably move into Hardmode!
Would be nice to mention that after killing WoF corruption and hallow will spread in a V pattern from the center of the world, so isolating world evil beforehand is kinda dead work. Also, void bags are post-skeletron, since those require bones. The WoF bridge is better build with 1 tile wide gaps for expert+ worlds, as lava slimes have a habit of dropping buckets of lava. Obsidian platforms work well enough too, as they don't burn in lava while for example wood ones do
Terraria guide videos shouldn't default the pylon setup with the goblin in the tundra, he has maximum happiness in the underground biome living near the mechanic and dye trader. Other than that your video is pretty helpfull

Great video, however isolating evil biomes in pre-hm is pretty much useless since a massive diagonal stripe of evil biome will be spawned upon the wall of flesh defeat anyways.
while lucy is very nice, it's also worth mentioning the axe of regrowth since it has the same axe power, while also replanting trees automatically and has the functions of the staff of regrowth (and is a bit easier to obtain)

I usually skip all of that, the weapons dropped by the wall of flash make early hardmode way easier than late normal mode
