Just started this game, love it!
There's actually a glitch in multiplayer using a table to quickly duplicate items so you don't actually have to waste materials for treasure totems
I haven’t gotten that far in the game where I can grow Qi Beans yet… But what about putting them in a seed maker? 🤔
I forgot my trick of selling the fruit to Pierre and buying them back to use for the next quest 😂

BETTER: stock up on geodes and bring them to Clint. I reckon i got 70 seeds from 100-150ish geodes, and when they grew i just put them in seed maker and hang around Clint again if i want it to be faster

Also going to the dangerous mines and bombing everything does bring a good amount of beans as well
I keep the whole desert planted with trees and harvest once a month or more, weekly if i get QI bean quest, use luck rings, and lucky lunch for tons of beans, along with golden boxes or mystery boxes ill have like 150+ easily. To start out with

I usually just cut down every tree in Cindersap forest the first day I got the quest as well as any other tree. If you already have a tree farm set up when you take the quest ready for logging, you are golden.
I don't think fishing is as quick but treasure tokens sure are. Also, if you have a ton of mystery boxes lying around, they are a great way to get a lot of them too but you of course loose some of what usually are in them that way.

Worst Quest in the Game. Never finished it, never will finish it, will start it tho for the Qi Mask
I'm not able to propogate them within the time limit unless I actively go to floros 120-200 in the skull caverns every single day. Growing a few for 3 days only to put the in the seedmaker for 1.5x more wasn't good enough for me without hard-grinding raw beans.
how to get this totem ?
Fam I just dump all of them into the seed makers, replant and then rinse and repeat until I get 500 in a single harvest and ship those
Geodes and cutting every tree is usually how I get my supply. Fishing I feel takes too long.

i found fishing to be the best, i got sooo many,, fairly quick
I am on my 7th year and have not found any qi beans
And I’m pretty sure that the Qi beans despawn from the valley when the quest is not active
I have a bunch of trees near the train station and cut them down every few days. Most dropped a bean and I had no trouble finishing the quest.
I cut down every single tree. Unfortunately, I sold the 500 fruits a day too late and failed the quest.

The first time i tried this quest i got SO CLOSE
If you wanna go the cheese route, if your on console just hook up another controller join the game and dupe them with a table 🤷🏻♂️
I spent a day cutting down every tree I could find before passing out. Then the next day Clint and I opened all the geodes and mystery boxes I had hoarded specifically for this quest. I put that crop into seed makers to roughly triple my seeds. I think I completed the quest in under 2 weeks with fruit to spare. (I tried using teasure totems but they seemed like more work than they were worth.)
Ive never been able to complete that one 😂
