this build turned out beautifully – i love that shot of it at the end with the blue Nether fog concealing it a bit, very eerie. i'm glad you decided the lightning rod vines as well, they definitely add the finishing touch.
The tree looks so cool. The hanging rods and the way the roots dip into the lava are my favorite details!

Having end rods on some of the lighting rods would look really cool. It would also match the frog lights in the tree

Hey fWhip you I know you like lanterns so there is a resource pack called Better Lanterns. It make the lanterns more 3D It is so cool I hope you see this comment.
You could put those end rods that glow in certain parts of the hanging vines to make them pop more.

You should put veins of colorful light blocks among the nether tree's trunk! 😀 like sea lanterns? The contrast of colors would be SO COOL.

Watching since day 1, it inspired to me continue playing minecraft.
Idea.
So, what if you added buckets of snow to the tree? Since it's already white, you could sort of make it, like, the spawn tree for ghasts in the nether. Then decorate it with a bunch of the dried ghast kiddos like they're coming back to the tree to climb up it to get outta the hot nether
I still think he should have made the bridges be the roots from the trees.
you should intersplice end rods in between the lightning rods so they are easier to see and add acacia fences at the top to make them thicker near the top

Just like the other trees around your world, you should build an orange scar in the nether tree. I think it'll look really cool with the white, and it makes sense since you've done it with the other trees as well.

Amazing video, got me hella inspired to get creative with custom trees… maybe on a slightly saner scale idk. Just wondering about the rationale for not wearing a gold item during the digging? Feels like you put yourself in such stressful situations all for the lack of a gold helmet! I was stressed for you dude.

You could use a combination of Torches and Orange Candles to add some soft glow to the vines… Scattering orange candles around the sides of them would also thicken them up a little bit visually and act like little leaf shoots…
