  1. Motion blur and chromatic blur are the gaming equivalent of a cheap landlord painting over mold. They're used more often than not to hide serious issues in the rendering pipeline.

  2. I'd argue that Charmonium is better than Ambient Sounds if it's available. It has much cleaner audio that is less distracting (I mainly hate the crows in Ambient Sounds). Charmonium also has good default volume levels

  3. The perfect thing would be a download link to an instance for multi mc or prism so that we can install everything all lot quickly and easily.
    Great vid

  4. The 21:9 ratio caught me so offguard. I was watching the video minimized in theater mode, and suddenly, it just expanded to the edges of my monitor.

  5. Quick question. What are your pc specs? If I wanted to recreate this I just want to know what it would require because it seems very graphically demanding

  6. Ngl I love… Sound design mods so much now.I might try them out.

The shaders though…. Uhhh.. my PC wnet ot 30 FPS when I used a fast shader. So, not for me until its cheaper than $300 to buy sonething… Normal.

  7. While both for performance and gameplay reasons i wouldnt use this to play… i cant lie i feel this sort of thing would've been very interesting for the actual minecraft movie. I'm not saying they should've filmed the movie in minecraft (thought i would not be against that, at least it would be unique for a movie), but as art direction this could have been very interesting as a base. If the base, sort of flat lighting of minecraft is not epic enough for a movie, these shaders get much closer to what one would expect out of a typical movie without losing much of the game's style…
…except for the armor shading at the end, that might've needed some tweaking.

  8. reflective tools are cool but is there a way to turn off reflective… grass??? idk if anyone noticed but irl grass doesnt shine like aluminium sheets, its so distracting!

  9. This is what i want my server to be!
but i keep trying to keep bedrock support via geyser….
have got plenty of server side & client side mods working, but there so many others that will break support…
really, REALLY tempted to just abandon my niece on bedrock XD

  10. Would it be possible if you made this a public Modrinth modpack?? I feel like I can’t get it right when I try to install it myself

  11. I'd really REALLY appreciate if when doing these experiments you shared the final personal modpack you used either on Modrinth or Curseforge. Sometimes I just want to play around with what you show, but don't want to set it all up.

  12. An underrated pick for shaders would be SEUS PTGI GFME shaders. It's an edit SEUS PTGI shaders with distant horizons support and a few quality of life changes. It's more difficult to install than regular shaders though

  13. another mod i'd recommend on top of this is "stellar view", makes the night sky 1:1 with the real world including planets and galaxies. also has shooting stars, supernovae, and light pollution if you get close to a torch. really neat little mod and i think it fits the "cinematic" theme
