OH BOY… IT BEGINS! | Terraria 1.4.4 LEGENDARY Mode Playthrough Episode 1

Back at the end of 2022 when the Terraria 1.4.4 update first came out, I had a series on what was the new get fixed boy scene. It is a series that has long lived in infamy on this channel because it is the first and only series I have properly rage quitted here on YouTube. and I vowed that so long as there is breath in my body, I will never ever do another series on the Get Fix Boy scene ever again. However, when it comes to the various secret seeds that were mixed together to form the Get Fix Boy scene, I’m actually still yet to do playthroughs on a lot of the various secret seeds that exist. So, today, my friends, I am going to be beginning a brand new playthrough. This is Terraria legendary mode. More specifically on the for the worthy secret seed. This is all you need to type in. We’re going to go small world. We’re going to go master so it actually becomes legendary mode. We’re going to go for a random world. And we’re just going to call this legendary world. Am I nervous for how this series is going to play out? Yes, absolutely I am. I mean, for any of you guys who actually watched the Get Fix Boy series I had in 2022, you’ll know that that Secret Seed actually damaged my mental health. Like, I’m not actually exaggerating. But here’s my thinking. Maybe on sort of an in air quotes normal world, maybe I’ll be able to take down legendary mode. So, let’s go ahead and get started. Oh my goodness me. And would you look at that? We’re starting right next to a lava pool. We’ve also got ourselves a demolitionist NPC in place of the guide to kick things off. And now what we’re going to do is we’re going to chop down some wood. Okay, so that’s part of this seed then. That’s a bit of a yikes. Hey, look at that. We got ourselves some fruit. That’s pretty cool. If you’re new to the channel here via this video here today, a warm welcome to you. I hope you’ll enjoy what you see. So, because this is just a playthrough and not really sort of a normal let’s play. I’m not going to be spending too much time on the building side of things. Yes, I’m going to go ahead and probably make use of the whole pylons network thing and thus we’ll have to have ourselves a bunch of builds strewn out across the world so we can actually use the pylon network. But when it actually comes to, you know, spending time on builds, I’m not really going to be doing that. I’m just going to be making very, very basic builds. And I hope that that is okay with you folks. When it comes to spending more time on builds, I reserve that more so for the in air quotes normal let’s plays that I do. So, second thing we need to do is we need to go ahead and do just a little bit of this. I am not about to fall in that lava. That would be embarrassing. We’ve got 585 bits of wood. Good sweet lord. And what we’re going to do is we’re going to get right to work on some armor and some weaponry. Uh something a bit better than that though. Come on now. Heavy minus speed. Are you kidding me? Ah, that’s more like it. When I actually think about it, I have only ever done two playthroughs on the secret seeds that exist within this game. The only one I’ve actually completed was my old drunk world seed playthrough of old and then of course it was the get fixed boy seed and then that’s it. There are plenty of other secret seeds that exist. This normal for the worthy legendary mode seed. There’s also like a B seed and there’s a whole bunch of other ones that exist as well. So yeah, I mean better late than never, right? in terms of getting around to playing the secret seeds. So, what have we got going on here? 56 health with this here green slime and it does 33 damage to me. What the heck? So, I would only be able to take three, maybe four hits from even just a green slime on this seed. That is kind of mad. 160 health with the vulture to my right. Oh boy. Oh boy. I’m just going to have to go ahead and uh maybe try and speedrun this a little bit. Oh, and I’m dead already. Wow. 66 damage that guy did to me. Oh boy. Yeah, if that’s any indication of how things are going to go in the series, then Oh boy. I need to make sure I’m in a good mental state when I come to record these episodes. Only if I’m not then, yeah, there may be some rage moments to come in this series. I mean, I hope not. I’d like to hope that my 14 years of playing this game has maybe in some way lent me a little bit of skill, maybe a little bit of, I don’t know, mental fortitude. I guess we’ll find that out as this series progresses. But check it out. We found ourselves some large deposits of cobweb already, which is pretty awesome. Got ourselves a bunch of sunflowers as well. That’ll be useful for giving a son of a gun. That will be useful for enhancing our movement speed, which if I’m being honest, I think that’s going to be absolutely critical when it comes to the boss fights in this series. We’re going to want to make sure we are buffed up like ridiculously so. like maybe overpoweredly. So overpoweredly, is that even a word? I mean, probably not, but you still get what I mean, right? I have got to be on top of things when it comes to preparing for each boss battle. In my other let’s plays and playthroughs, I feel like I just sort of brute force my way through the game. So, we got a pinky here. And I think what would be a cool idea is if I was to I mean, this guy is like less than a block tall. So, even if I was to do a little bit of that, pretty sure he could still get through. Wait, what the heck? Uh, that was a little bit. Oh, we did get through. We got out of there just in time, didn’t we? Hey. Oh my word. Am I actually about to get caught by a pinky? I mean, I got to be honest with you, that would be so embarrassing that I would probably have to retire from Terraria entirely. So then, 600 health with Pinky. I’ll see you guys next year. Wait a minute. Have I got a little bit of a thing going on here? Just slapping this guy against the wall continuously. I’ll tell you something. If I get a slime staff from this guy, I am going to be beside myself with excitement. Like seriously, to have my first summon weapon this early on in the series would be amazing. Come on. No. Come on, RNG. I mean, it was always going to be a rare drop, wasn’t it? But still, come on. That would have been amazing. So, then it looks like this mini cave here is going to be where I set up a little bit of a starter base only. Yeah, our first night has come along, and I don’t think I’d be able to survive just walking around on the surface. So, I’m just going to do myself a favor here. I’m going to use my time productively. I’m going to make a bit of a shelter. So, let’s go ahead and see what I can come up with. Oh, hey, check it out. On the left there, there’s a chest and a whole bunch more cobweb. The sooner we get ourselves a bed and thus the ability to set our spawn point, the better things are going to be, I think. Little bit of good news. We’ve got ourselves a deposit of iron here, which is good. The sooner we are able to make ourselves an anvil, the sooner we’ll be able to get ourselves some rather more hefty gear upgrades. All righty. Nothing fancy, just a little bit of a structure. We’ll have ourselves two NPC houses down the bottom and eventually a pylon up in this top sort of attic room. So, with the iron I picked up, I can make myself 10 bars, which is okay. Five of them will be used to make an anvil. Some good news, because I’ve been digging out a base here. As a result, I have quite a lot of stone, so I can now make myself a whole bunch of ammo for my bow. And we’re not going to dillydally. We’re going to convert them immediately into flaming ones. Come on then, zombunies. Try and get to me now. 180 health. Oh my word. Well, at least I’m able to hit these guys. Oh, more torches for you, boy. Right. Come on, gel guy. Believe it or not, there is actually a very slim possibility of the gel dudes dropping slime staffs. I have had it happen once before. only once though. That is how rare it is that that happens. Anyways, here we go. We got ourselves a step stool, can of worms, and of course the chest itself. We can finally get on with trying to have ourselves a nicely organized inventory. All right, very good. We’ve got 40 bits of cobweb. And actually, there is something we can do with this here iron. I should be able to make myself a sawmill. There we are. Then we need ourselves a loom. And then wait, is this guy going to get up to me? Oh, I sincerely hope not because I don’t want to be dealing with that guy right now. We’re going to get ourselves one of these bad boys. Now we just need to replace the back rumors and then we should be able to set a spawn point here. Whoa. Yeah, that’s right. Uh oh. Wait, hang on a minute. Don’t blow me up. Right. Do a little bit of this. Do a little bit of this. Yeah, this is how we take out the trash and then we throw a bunch of knives at the zombie to finish him off. Right now then, background wolves time. Let’s do this. All right. And just like that, background wolves have been added. Let’s do this thing. Spawn point set. Now we can get the demolitionist to move in and another NPC as well. Oh, look at that. Because we took down that pinky before, we have five gold coins, which means we can have the merchant move in, who is going to be an essential NPC for this playth through. Not only can we buy torches from him, but we could also buy arrows. All right, so that’s our starter base done for now. Do we think we could get away with exploring the world a bit more? On the right hand side, we have a desert. On the left hand side, we have a desert. We’ve got nothing but deserts around here, apparently. I’m kind of hoping that I’ll just be able to sort of speed my way through the desert here. It would be nice to be able to stop and pick up some of the cacti, though. To get ourselves cacti armor and some cacti gear would definitely be a good step forward. Oh dear, I do not like the sound of that soundtrack. I mean, actually, I do. I love the soundtrack, but the fact that it indicates the presence of a corruption at this early stage in the game, that my friends is a fat no. Looks like we’ll have to go to the right hand side of the world. Hey, the merchant. Ow! What the stupid blue slime? The merchant has indeed arrived. Very, very cool. I wonder if the merchant and the demolitionist will be happy enough with each other and indeed the location to the point where they would maybe offer a pylon. It would be cool, but even if the pylon was available, I wouldn’t be able to buy it because I can’t afford it just yet. The default price is what normally about 10 gold coins. Oh boy. Right. How am I going to get out of this one? Maybe we’ll just do just a little bit of this. Yeah. All right. We’re starting to get somewhere. We’ve got ourselves a little bit of a supply of cacti. Pretty sure 75 is the magic number you need for a full set of cacti armor. I’m going to need myself a little bit more cacti even still if I want to make myself a cactus pickaxe and sword though. Anyway, here we are exploring a little bit more of our Oh, hey. Hey, that’s scummy Terraria. Turns out even the vases can drop live bombs on you. Yeah, that’s cool. Appreciate that one. Oh, would you look at that? Another bomb. My world is going to get slowly but surely destroyed here, isn’t it? Uh ah good. We actually have ourselves some robes. I can get myself around just a little bit easier now. We do have a menacing gnome to take down, though. Oh, I do have a grenade. I wonder if I could do just a little bit of Oh, good lord. Uh oh, that actually kind of worked, huh? Okay, that works out. I’ll take that. A little bit of extra luck via placing down that gnome will do very, very nicely. Don’t mind the fact that I just accidentally threw a another grenade. The good news is I got another five of them, so we’re looking kind of all right. All right, big old tree. What have you got for me today? A big old living wood room. Don’t mind if I do. What do we got here? Oh, we got ourselves a summon weapon. Nice. Oh, I am happy with that. Any bombs? Yep, of course there is. All right, what you got for me, Budsky? A another step stool and a bunch more recall potions. I think I saw Yeah, we’ve got 18 of them now. That’s actually very very good because there’s probably going to be a lot of times where I get myself into a sticky situation and I’ll need a quick exit. So to have a bunch of recall potions is definitely going to be beneficial to us. Oh, would you look at that? Yet another name. What do we got here? Oh, that’s big. That is big. A wand of sparking. Oh, snappers. So, not only is the snow biome coming up, but there appears to be the beginnings of a large iron vein. Oh my goodness me. Just look at it all. 14 iron bits of iron. Yeah. All right, nighttime is fast approaching. Just how much more of this world will I be able to explore? Hopefully we can keep going for at least a little while. All right, what is going on here folks? I mean, clearly that is the dungeon, but that is not a normal looking dungeon. Is it purple or is it like dark blue? I can’t really tell. Also, I can’t get into it. So, where the heck is the entrance? Oh, the entrance is over there. So, the dungeon is sort of flicked as in the entrance faces towards the outer reaches of the world as opposed to the inner reaches of the world like normal. No. Yep. I I was expecting that. And now I’ve just lost a lot of gold coins. Oh, that’s not good at all. All right. Unfortunately, neither of these NPCs are happy enough to sell a pylon. But never mind. I no longer have the cash to buy one anyway. So, our next steps forward, I think, will be to get ourselves a bunch of iron bars and then we see what kind of upgrades we can make. A wooden bow does four damage. An iron bow does eight. So, double damage. That’s a pretty decent upgrade in my eyes. We’ve also got ourselves an iron broadsword, which has 12 damage as opposed to the pointy wood swords measly eight. So, let’s go for one of these as well. Hey, it’s a good one as well. 134 health. Yeah, get out of here, you embarrassment. I now have semideent weaponry. What have you got? That’s right. Nothing. All right, we’re going to sleep away this night and then we’re going to try and get ourselves back over to the dungeon. Oh, come on. We just have two fallen stars. Miss this demon eye. This eyeball is getting away with way too much at the moment, my friends. This guy thinks he’s the greatest at dodgeball. I feel like I need to teach him a lesson, but I’m not entirely sure I would be able to survive. I mean, at the very least, I’d very much like to grab some of these siler stars. The sooner we get some more mana, the more amount of times we’ll be able to use our wonder of sparking. Come on, eyeball. Yeah, I took him down in the finish. All right, it’s daytime. Let’s see if we can get ourselves back to the dungeon. There’s a big old sandstorm happening right now. It’s going to take a real legend to power through this. Look at me just walking right into it. Slapping me in the face. Sign of a true legend. That is being able to withstand a sandstorm blasting in your face. Oh yeah, we got some coins back. Amazing. And now we can admire this strange looking dungeon in daylight. Look at it. It’s very, very dark blue, isn’t it? Goes without saying, we’re not going to be exploring the dungeon today. I’m not about to have a visit from the dungeon guardian. What the heck? Uh, is it? Yeah. Okay. I thought maybe I’d be able to kill it and then be able to pick up the explosives for my own usage. No. How many bits of cacti do I have? 99. Sweet. So, got 20 for the helmet, 30 for the chest plate, 25 for the legs, and then we’re going to get ourselves a cactus pickaxe. Will we be able to get back past the dungeon before nighttime rolls around? I certainly hope so. Come on, Python. Run. Run to your coins. Oh my god. What the hell, bro? That is not funny. That guy is absolutely bloody enormous. Oh my word. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Get wrecked. Two gold coins. Wait, did that guy pick up my money or did he actually drop gold coins? That is madness. Oh, okay. Yeah, he picked up some of my coins. So, yeah, there we are. We got ourselves three gold coins back. I’m going to pick some more of these sunflowers up. And then I think what I’d like to do is TP back to base. I’m going to purchase myself some little bits and bobs here. I’m going to get a piggy bank, maybe a bug net, and obviously a whole bunch more ammo and torches. only what I’m going to do is I am going to explore the ice cave entrance we spotted a little bit earlier. I’m going to hope that it leads down to like an ice chest. And I’m also going to hope that there is some decent weaponry in said chest. Maybe an ice blade, maybe a snowball cannon. Yeah, turns out we have corruption on both the left and right of our world, which I got to be honest, has me feeling a little bit scared because I’m feeling like it’s only a matter of time before the two corruptions meet up in the middle and like my entire world gets corruptified. I mean, you saw how big that eater of souls was earlier, right? He was absolutely bleeding enormous. Now, imagine an entire world just full of those guys. I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night. Anyway, here we are. Let’s explore some caves, shall we? Oh, would you look at that? Another bomb. This game is doing everything in its power to try and kill me with traps. Look at this. There’s two dart traps right next to each other. What on earth is that all about? Oh, make that a third trap. Okay. Uh oh. Hey, we’ve got ourselves a ruby, which is cool because we’re going to need rubies for a little bit later in the series when we start going for bosses. So, here’s what I’m thinking in terms of an episode end goal. I would like to go for a metal set of armor. Whether that winds up being iron or gold or whatever else, I want defense. Oh, hey, that’s kind of awesome. Just a random chest out in the open. And apparently a crab spawner beneath us. What’s this? Blizzard in a bottle. Nice. Can I get myself up here? Yes, I can. Because guess what? I have double jump now. Bomb. No. No. I ain’t having none of that nonsense. You know what? It’s times like this. I really wish that I purchased for myself some Granadas. I desperately need them. Only look at the amount of damage we just did to a whole bunch of dudes there. Wow, there really are a good amount of gems to be had down here. There’s a whole bunch of amethyst here. A little bit of topaz up there. If we manage to get 15 of any one type of gem, we’ll be able to get ourselves a grappling book. Anyway, are we about to death run this? I mean, possibly. There’s a good amount of dudes down there who want to kill me, and it will not take them very long to do so. I guess if I want to be smart, though, what I should do is get myself down to their level, make a little bit of a poke hole, and start throwing some knives through. So, a little bit of this. Yeah. It’s not going to take very long for my throwing knives supply to run out, though, is it? Ow. Good lord. Oh, hey there, first fairy of the series. As nice as you may be, I can’t follow you currently because there’s a bunch of dudes who want to kill me. Oh, wait. Hang on a minute. I’ve managed to take everybody down, though. Uh, will I be able to disarm some of these here traps? Uh yeah, looks like we’re doing all right. So, where’s this leading me? Oh, a gold chest on the left hand side. Oh, hang on a minute. Uh we need to do that of a thing there. There was a trap. My reward is a trapped chest. That’s how it’s going to be, is it? Wait, why is there 16? Where did all those SL So, I’m not being funny, but there was zero slimes and then all of a sudden there were four that just rained down from up here. That’s not okay. I was about to start disarming this dead man’s chest, and now I can’t even get back to the snow biome because it’s night time. All right, so having slept the night away, it’s time to get ourselves back to that snow cave. Oh, I am not falling for your cuteness again there, explosive buddy. Come on, Python. If you’re super quick about getting through this cave, you might not have as many dudes spawn on you. All right, so got me coins back. Now I Oh, okay. So, yeah. Where are these guys coming from? I I don’t understand. They’re just raining down from above and there’s not really a great deal going on up here. But hey, what there is going on up here is gold. Imagine if we got full gold armor by the end of today’s episode. The only thing is I seem to recall the top tier preh hard mode ore armors requiring quite a lot of bars. I can’t remember if it’s 75 or 90 bars that are required. Anyway, continuing on. We got ourselves a bunch more gems all over the place. And would you look at that? There’s a bunch of tungsten over there. I would even settle for full tungsten armor by the end of today’s episode. All right, I think I’m a safe enough distance away. I feel like literally if I was one block closer to that, I would have just died. But hey, turns out I accidentally perfectly calculated that risk. I’ll take it. All right, just blocking off a bit of an area so I can more safely disarm this dead man’s chest. And now we’re going to start ridding some of the bits and bobs around here. Starting off with the boulders. Then there’s a slime to take down. Then a bunch of dart traps. And then presumably a couple of explosive traps down beneath as well. Hey, look at that. My little finchie is going to town on that guy. Amazing. Right, here we go. We got a dart trap here. We got a dart trap here. We got three more on the right. And then what appears to be one, two, three explosive traps. And that’s it. Yeah, look at us. We got ourselves some Hermes boots. What isn’t so sweet though is the mob situation down below. It looks quite bad actually. Maybe I need to go find myself a different place to explore. Oh man, does this look bad. There’s a lot of bats flying around. Like really a lot of bats. And not even just one type of bat. There’s multiple types of bats flying around. Okay. Ah, 81 damage that guy did. What the hell? Sheesh. As if bats weren’t annoying enough already. Apparently the ice bats do a crazy amount of damage to you as well. Anyway, it’s nothing my sword and my finch combined can’t handle though. Oo, little bit of a gem deposit down here. Appears to be a whole bunch of sapphire. Do I already have sapphires? I don’t know. I went ahead and put away a bunch of gems back at my base and I can’t really remember how many of each I had. Oh, hey there spider biome. Nice of you to stuff on by. Oh, gee whiz. No, no, no, no. I’m not about to get rained on by slimes again. No. Ooh, look at the amount of gems here. I will most definitely be able to make a hook out of all of this. Out of all of the gem hooks you can make, I’m pretty sure the emerald hook is like the third furthest reaching one. Wa. Okay, lots of stuff to digest here. We’ve got ourselves a water chest down to the bottom left in addition to an underground cabin. Firstly though, we need to dispatch of all of the trash. All right, come on, Python. We can do this. We’ve got ourselves the water chest. It’s got a trident in it and a suspicious looking eye and a red potion. Only for those who are worthy. And hey, because we actually are in a for the worthy seed world, it will be very very interesting to see what exactly it is the red potion does. Anyways, let’s go through this house and see what else there is. There is another double jump. We now have access to triple jump. Wow, that’s a lot of spiky slimes down there. I imagine there’s a bunch of stuff to be had, though. I can’t really tell. I didn’t have enough time to look around. I was too busy escaping from the bomb. Wait a minute. You know what I’ve just realized? Inside of the webbed chests inspired biomes, you can get the web sllinger grappling hook, right? That has surely got to be better than a gem hook purely for the fact that it shoots up multiple times. Oh, and man oh man am I glad I went through here. I mean, even if there wasn’t a web sllinger, we have ourselves our first life crystal of the series. 120 health. Oh yeah. Come on then, Mr. Spider Drew. Try and kill me now. You’re too big to get through the gap. This is almost certainly going to result in my death. I’m descending through the spider cave. And I’m not entirely sure what is waiting for me down the bottom. There’s a bunch of gold waiting for me to the side. And would you look at that? Even more gold. Even still, this is a giant deposit as well. So doing the maths, I believe it is four gold ore per bar, right? If we need 75 bars, that is going to be 75 * 4, which is 300 gold. That’s a lot of gold to try and find yourself at the very beginning of our world. But you know what? We’re already almost a third of the way up to that goal. So, who knows? Maybe the goal of getting full gold armor by the end of today’s episode. Maybe that is not too far outside of the realms of possibility. You know what would make things easier is if we did a little bit of a zoom out action and we activate this one and only Spielunker potion that we have. So directly beneath us apparently is a gold chest. So of course I’ll go ahead and see what it’s got. Oh, there’s a bomb. There’s a bomb. That was close. That was really, really close. Couple of gold deposits up to my top left. Diamonds. Oh, yeah. Don’t mind if I do. There’s even more gold to my far left. And on my immediate left appears to be one of those little camping microbiome thingy doohickeys. Yeah, look at this. We activate this. We got a campfire. And we got ourselves a bunch of free gold coins. All righty. Well over halfway there with our gold goal at this point. 168 out of 300. Check it out, folks. Looks like we got ourselves a heart statue. And if we’re going to be going fullon pedal to the metal when it comes to our boss arenas, heart statues will definitely be something we want to have. Uh yeah, thanks for that. Terraria almost killed me. Had I still only had 100 health, that would have killed me. Oh, I just realized I got five gold bars on me. So that’s 75 – 5. So that’s 70 bars time 4. So we’re still going to be needing what? 280 bits of gold. Now, this is going to be super wishful thinking, but what do you think our chances are of getting a bone pickaxe? First time rolling from that undead miner on my right. Hey, are we about to get super lucky? Ah, look at this dude. He’s not even making an effort. You’re just getting slapped around like nobody’s business. I got a little bit close for comfort, though. And there we are. Oh, it’s a mining shirt. That’s what we got, huh? Don’t mind if I do. Oh, here we go. This is where our caving/sp speeding sesh really picks up the pace. We’ve got ourselves a minecart rail, and more often than not, minecart rails lead to treasure. So, we got to be super careful though because, you know, we can still die via bats flying our way. And we can also die via traps being placed on the track itself. We got to be real careful here, folks. We can’t go getting complacent. Not by any stretch of the imagination. Don’t like the fact that there’s a hoplight there. That leads me to believe that there’s a marble biome around. So, yeah. Just got to take things nice and chill like. So, here we go. Not one, but two life crystals. 180 health. Got ourselves a large gold deposit coming up on our left. That’s going to certainly boost my gold supplies by a good amount. Oh, it’s not gold. It’s iron. Oh, man. The lighting from the lava made the iron look like gold. Like, was I the only one who thought that that was gold and not iron? Ah, or am I just that silly? Which, let’s be frank, is probably the more likely option out of everything that’s going on here. Oh, well, I’ll still grab the iron. It’ll be good for iron skin potions eventually, right? Oh, I am anticipating death any second now. Oh, there’s some actual gold, though. Come on, Python. You can take down a worm. There you go. Aha, very good. And our reward is actually gold, not iron that looks like gold. 205 out of 280. We need to get 75 more gold ore and then we are good to go. H granite biome. While they are typically easier to take on than marble ones in my opinion anyway, they do still have a good amount of dangers. So yeah, we shouldn’t get too ahead of ourselves is what I’m saying. I mean, look at this guy. Probably won’t take much for this guy to kill me. Oh yeah, go on. Go on. Die in the lava, you idiot. All right, so we’ve gone through the granite biome. If I’m honest, it’s a bit disappointing. sign there’s nothing really there. However, with that said, to the bottom left of it, there appears to be a mushroom biome, which are usually pretty good in terms of providing loot. Oh, hey there, big mama slime. Come on now. Going to take all these guys down and then I’ll be able to explore the mushroom biome. Ah, yeah. Top left there is indeed a life crystal. Wait, I’ve been cursed. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What’s going on here? Weak. Physical abilities are decreased. I was cursed there for a second. I’m not okay with that. Come on. Making our way up to this life crystal. We have now got 200 health. And look at that. Way up top center, there is yet another chest. We’re doing very well on chests today. What you got for me? Chest. A flare gun. Ew. This is an enormous deposit of tungsten. I mean, just look at it. We’ve nearly got 300 bits of tungsten. Wow. We can make ourselves a full set of armor out of that. But we’re not a million miles away from being able to make ourselves a full set of gold, though. I’m pretty set on trying to get myself gold armor at this point. So, as much as this tungsten is nice to have and will certainly provide us with a good amount of gear upgrades, we’re not going to be making armor out of it. All right, yet another life crystal. Ah, wa random geyser. Yeah, appreciate that one there, broki. Uh, also genuinely do appreciate the life crystal here. Nice. Okay, now I feel like Terraria is messing with me. Like what is this up above me? A vein of one gold ore. What is that all about? I know. Check it out up here as well. A vein of four little tiny micro veins. It’s not enough. All I need is just one more giant gold vein and then we will be good to go. 260 health though. That’s not bad going, is it? All right, come on, Python. Bridge away across this whopping great expanse of lava and hope that there’s some more gold to be had. Uh, wait, what is that? Oh, it’s one of those uh husk dudes. Yeah. Okay, cool. Multitudes of traps, but no gold. Come on, Terraria. Stop messing with me. Oh yes, my friends. Yes, this is exactly what I’m looking for. A giant deposit of gold to finish things off. Okay, I am so happy right now. Don’t die to something stupid though, Python. Come on now. Uh, let’s come out of this with a big old smile on our face and not a death on the cards. Just want to pick up these last few bits of gold. And yeah, we should be looking pretty good. Oh, hang on. There’s a couple more bits of gold up top there, though. All gold is good gold in my eyes. So, yeah, I’m going to grab every single little nugget I can find. And if we can also get ourselves gold weaponry and gold tools. Oh man, we are going to be on to a serious winner. Oh, get out of town. Another giant gold deposit. Boom. Wow, that was close again. Talk about living on the edge. Hey, my friends. And yes, I do see it on my far bottom of the screen. There is in fact a little bit more gold. I’ll grab that and then I’ll go home. Although, with that said, oh, look at that. 17 gold coins. If I was to lose 17 gold coins this early into the run, I would be pretty upset. Oh, come on. There’s a life crystal on the right there as well. I have to try and grab that. I’m not addicted to caving. I don’t know what you guys are on about. Uh, this, my friends, is going to require some balls. Although, with that said, some good luck in the form of all those slimes falling into the lava. I’ll definitely take that as well. But yes, I want to get myself over here. I want to grab myself this bad boy. 280 health. I might as well have just a little bit of a nosy around further. Maybe there’s some more stuffs to be had. I don’t think there is though. I think we have finally come to the end of this episode one huge enormous cave sesh of epicness. So, let’s go home. I cannot believe just how much stuff we have come out with. Look at this. 386 gold ore, 144 iron ore, 345 tungsten ore, and a myriad of new accessories and drops and boss summons and bars and all sorts of other lovely stuff. Before we make anything though, I just want to quickly see if I can’t buy myself a little bit of a something something from this guy. Uh, simple answer, uh, no. Master Gamer’s outfit. Wait, what? Let me do just a little bit of inventory management and then we’re going to get to work on some serious upgrades. So 10 bars plus 345 tungsten ore will give us a grand total of 96 tungsten bars. Five pre-existing gold bars plus 386 gold ore will give us dot dot dot 101 gold bars. Wow. And then on top of all of that, I can also make myself a hook. Nice. Okay, so in terms of the armor, four defense for the helmet, five for the chest plate, and four for the leggings. And what that is going to do for our defense is take it from six to 19. Wow. The only bad thing about all these upgrades is now I can have the eye of Cthulhu spawn on me naturally. So at the beginning of next episode, I think what I’m going to do is I am going to make myself a rudimentary boss arena. So in the event of the Eye of Cthulhui spawning in, we at least have a semidecent arena to be able to dodge his attacks and all that kind of stuff. But before we do any of that, I want to make myself a gold. It’s a good one as well. Well, I mean, minus speed, but plus damage. Is a two melee damage increase with the gold broadsword really worth it? Not entirely sure that it is. I think what I’d like to do instead is maybe go for a gold pickaxe to be able to get ourselves meteorite gear ASAP would be fantastic. So, a little bit of that. And it’s a quick one as well, so it’s decent. Do you know what? We’ve got ourselves some gold left over. So, I’m just going to say screw it. Let’s go for this bad boy. Hey, it’s a good one as well. So, actually, it’s an increase of four melee damage. And then when it comes to all the other tools, we could just go for tungsten. I mean, why not, right? Oh, come on. There’s a blood moon now. Ew.
